Van's High Caliber Tattoo

They always treat you like family!! From Dean at the front desk to each artist, Van did the two pieces I have currently! Both of them were wildly beyond my expectations, he has a vision for this work!!

Kinda hidden on a side street - only made the appointment today - but the art from all the resident tattoo artists is pretty amazing - so only more excited for what's to come. The shop alone is worth checking out - two floors decked out in art and traditional americana. Awesome vibe - welcoming staff. Clean classic professional with a wood tone and leather combination of class and nostalgia. Stoked to see the art to come.

Awesome atmosphere and Awesome artist's, so much talent packed under one roof!! A+ definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for some great tattoo work!!

I will always have a special place in my heart for this shop. It was where my sister and I got our " I love you more" ink on the inside of our wrists, in each other's hand writing. While that's not an overwhelmingly difficult thing, it was my sister's first. And now that she has passed, a little more than a year later, I still have her with me.
A couple of months ago, I went in with my mom while she got her first tattoo. A beautiful Purple Rose, with the names of her children in the leaves, and the ashes of my brother and sister in the ink. The artist Louis, was patient, and his skill was amazing. Not to mention, every time an artist walked by, and complimented the work, my mom's face seemed so proud. It was an amazing experience.
I can't wait to make my next appointment!

The Best! Hands down the only place to get ink in Washington state. Each artist is remarkably talented. No one is a stranger and immediately you feel like a part of their family. If you are looking for an experience and an epic tat, then there is only one place to go Van's HCT.

Really impressed with this shop. Great atmosphere with some amazing artists.

Let me just tell you. I got a tattoo from Van in 1992! Yes 92!
It was in his room in the basement of his parents house.. a original piece of art work of Van’s (a circular of two skulls in a Ying and yang looking eye to eye.
It came out amazing! But has since faded after almost 30 years -because it was all new to us back then(before the tattoo craze started) Hell, Van didn’t even have any tattoos.
We had great memories and became fast friends (like getting 86 from silent sam’s) eventually, I moved to Portland and him to Seattle and lost touch... but my point is..
He was a incredible artist and a great person then.. so I only could imagine how incredible he is now!

Corey is such a cool guy! Super talented, clean, comfy, 10/10 recommend. Also, one of the coolest shops I've been in.

I have two names on my upper bicep. I wanted wanted a third to match as far as size and script. My artist found the script and off we went. After it was all done the thickness was much thinner than my other two. When asked he said he didn't match it because it would have looked "scrunched together". So space it a little more! Highly disappointed. Will always see the glaring difference now. I went here because I though it was a 1st class joint, and left with a horrible experience.

Very professional, Great people there. High quality work. Won't go anywhere else. If you want a great tat, go there. See for yourself. I would post my tat but still working on it. When it's done, if I can edit this post.
