Review of Project Tattoo Studio
Project Tattoo Studio: If you're looking for a tattoo shop that offers a comfortable and laid-back atmosphere, Project Tattoo Studio is definitely worth checking out. Located in Mountlake Terrace, this tattoo shop has a team of talented artists who specialize in a variety of styles, including traditional, neo-traditional, and Japanese.
Customers have praised the shop's artists for their attention to detail and ability to bring their tattoo ideas to life. In particular, Matt Beacham has received high praise from customers for his work, with some even saying they've been going to him for over a decade.
While the shop has received some negative reviews, most customers have had positive experiences. Some have noted that the shop's outside area is small and not very welcoming, but that the inside is comfortable and inviting.
One thing to keep in mind is that the shop is cash-only, so be sure to come prepared. Additionally, some customers have had trouble getting in touch with the shop or scheduling appointments, so it's recommended to plan ahead and be patient.
Overall, Project Tattoo Studio is a solid choice for anyone looking to get a tattoo in a friendly and relaxed environment.

Me and my boyfriend both got tattoos at this shop and they did so amazing! The people are super nice and friendly. The shop itself is very laid back and gives off very good vibes. Not to mention our tattoos look exactly like the photos we showed them! And they did them fairly quick for two tattoos !

Got my first tattoo here. Got an anchor on my arm and havenβt regretted it since. Would strongly recommend Matt but the other artists seemed super nice too. Planning on getting my next tattoo here.

Hands down one of the best tattoo studio's in Seattle. Every artist here is amazing, super talented, they're all Super kind and supportive. I always have a great time here, everyone is fun to talk to and they have great taste in music (I bring my headphones and never use them). Aaron Egging is my artist and I'm always blown away by his ability to take an idea/vision or some badly drawn up idea of mine and turn it into a piece of art.

I asked for a hyper-realistic spider-man tattoo and this is what I got from Eric. I'm not mad, I'm just disappointed, because he didn't want to touch it up after. Overall I'm pleased with it and get compliments all the time.

I have gotten 3 tattoos done by Khalil Justice! He is the truth, I have been tatted by multiple people until I found Khalil he is a tattoo artist who wil.take time to give you what you want not what he thinks you want!! Will definitely be going back again!!

Very nice looking small tattoo place. The area outside is small and not very welcome and the sign they have seems old but once you walk in itβs ver comfy and nice with great artists

Aaron is the absolute best! I am sometimes nervous going into tattoo shops that are completely male dominated and feeling unwelcome, but everyone is super nice but I cannot say enough good things about Aaron. His art is absolutely phenomenal and he is honestly one of the kindest people ever. He is a talent and an absolute gem of a human being! Literally go to him any time especially when I have a tattoo idea that is kind of weird because he can take something half baked and kind of insane and make it awesome and beautiful. Go. To. Aaron.

Just want to come out and say it this is by far my favorite tattoo shop, Mattβs great hands and attention to detail is superb. Matt is a funny great guy, cracking jokes and generally holding great conversation really sold the experience. Not to mention for the multiple pieces Iβve gotten from him all have been reasonably priced. 10/10 would go back

I have never written a review before but this has been sitting in my mind for a while now. I went in almost three weeks ago to get a cover up of a small Celtic symbol on my wrist I didn't like anymore. I don't have the highest pain tolerance but generally speaking tattoos haven't hurt too bad. However, the inside of my upper wrist about did me in. I kept trying to start conversation because talking during a tattoo appointment helps me feel grounded (this is why I will bring someone with me, but because of the pandemic it isn't allowed, which is completely justified). To be blunt: Matt was rude. Several times during my appointment he cut me off mid sentence to talk to the other artists in the shop. At one point I was trying to crack a joke about the pain I was in and he told me I was doing it for attention so another artist would feel bad for me. Aside from being ignored, the tattoo was outrageously expensive for what it is. While the cover up is super cute, it unfortunately does not outweigh the uncomfortable and negative experience I had here. I do not recommend this shop to get tattooed at, especially for the price.

Tried to call them 15β20 minutes before they closed and no one answered, and when I arrived to the shop five minutes before close, they were already closed. All I wanted to know was if they sell tongue piercings but no one was available. I take full responsibility for showing up last minute, I shouldβve taken it as a sign of negligence or whatever the case may be.
Lesson for next time, be more attentive about time and stay away from businesses that canβt answer the phone 20 minutes before close.
