Mammoth Tattoo Studio

So I came into the store Friday being my first time trying to get a tattoo Steve was assisting me. I Told him I wanted to get a face of a lion on my finger he basically said it’s not a good idea. Which was Rude because you don’t know the reason why I wanted that tattoo. I moved onto another tattoo I had in mind which was a sword on one of my fingers he said he can do those. I ask if he would draw up something for me. He came back with a drawing of a sword. I ask if these details can be added with the sword being small in length he had drawn up. I showed him the photo of what I would like - the sword length wasn’t that long in the photo that I showed him . So I asked him if the swords looks long in the photo Than what he had created. Steve started to get Argumentative towards me saying I don’t know why we are auguring about this. Then he went back to draw up something. I ended up leaving by letting another worker know. I felt disrespected and rather not wanting to do work with him. This was bad customer service and I believe everyone should be treated with respect and are assisted with their tattoo ideas when arriving to the shop.

I came here in in 2012 to get matching tattoos with my sister. I just got tattooed w/ my Wife for our anniversary!

We worked with Jess, she was kind and has immaculate line work. I’d recommend her to friends and fam, we’ll def be back!

ALY does my tattoos and I cannot find enough good words to say about how absolutely stunning her tattoos are! I get so many compliments about her work! She leaves me feeling better than expected each and every single time!
As a couple we have had her tattoo us 4 times now. She does beautiful color work, her line work is perfect no matter what kind of tattoo she has given us. We've gone cartoon, personalized, madeup, and inspired by and she hits each one out of the park. GO SEE ALY ROSE!

I went here to get my first and second tattoos as a walk-in and both time the artists and owner were incredibly kind and welcoming. Not only this, but Mammoth Tattoo absolutely nails the “vibe” of a legit tattoo shop. Recommend to newcomers and tattoo-lovers alike! I plan on coming here many more times.

I have been tattooed at 7 different tattoo parlors and Mammoth Tattoo Studio has easily been my favorite. Robin was my artist and was incredibly professional, helpful, creative and skilled. The shop primarily does traditional tattooing, which is obvious by seeing all the artists amazing work covering the walls, creating a real artistic atmosphere.

My first experience with Mammoth Tattoo Studio was me just walking in and getting a ten minute conversation with Robin. He was able to take the idea I had in my head and translate it perfectly to a stencil with plans for bold lines and bright colors, my favorite! When I arrived at my appointment he had his set up ready. Then we spent some time talking about the stencil, the colors, and making sure that I was comfortable with his plan on how he was going to do the tattoo. We briefly discussed his rates before starting and they were very fair. That goes for everyone in the shop as well, they are there to make a living, not scam anyone out of money.

Once the tattooing began, Robin stayed very professional but also able to have great small talk to get to know each other. Whether it was talking about the reasons for the tattoo or sports or just life in general, he was great at keeping me relaxed while still being extremely focused on what he was doing. I loved his work so much that I have since gotten another piece from him and brought my wife in for some ink as well.

In all the visits I have had to Mammoth I have seen Robin and all the other artists doing amazing work on their clients. It is really a sight to behold and the whole shop has really made myself and my wife feel very welcome there and has always shown respect to our tattoo ideas and helped make them a reality.

If for whatever reason you love Robin's work but aren't sure you want something tattooed, he also does some amazing paintings that he is willing to sell.

I highly suggest anyone in the area to give the shop a call and set up an appointment with any of the artists, they are all quite talented.

They were very quick and helpful in getting me in as a walk in in a timely fashion, and the artist Jess was absolutely amazing and a pleasure to work with in getting my newest piece in a great design and size to match the location. She was very calm and took in session adjustments in stride very well and I highly recommend her for your next piece. The location itself was in a decent area of town with nearby ATMs (cash only location) and while the store is a little cramped, it maintained a high level of cleanliness and professionalism in insuring you are going to walk away with what you want, exactly how you want it.

My experience here was fantastic! Jacie is an incredible artist and did my very first tattoo. She was so great throughout the entire tattoo, was accommodating to all of my needs, and communicated with me so well throughout the process. She was very reasonable in pricing, and I walked out with exactly what I wanted! Cannot recommend enough.

My tattoo artist was nice and taught me some things, but I felt pressured into adding a color I didn't want, and I'm disappointed in my tattoos because of it. Sigh. Nice line work tho.

Jess is magic! I went in with a few very basic, general ideas to create a memorial piece for my Dad and she drew something up for me. She is creative and truly listens. I will be back for more body art. :)

Great experience - very accessible and easy for my first tattoo. Aly was amazing and expertly cleaned up my sketch and turned my dream into a beautiful stencil. Super chill vibes and an authentic atmosphere, especially if you like American Traditional designs. Aly was very professional and super easy to talk to as the session flew by. A wonderful place for anyone to go, highly recommend her and the studio. Thanks Aly!
