I have been going to Sasha and Dark Horse for almost 10 years. I continue to go back because of his creativity and attention to detail. He's taken my ideas and turned them into something so much better than I envisioned. I even brought my son here to get his first tattoo. The shop is extremely clean and decorated with a fun variety of pop culture and custom pieces from the artists that work there. I've moved out of Washington but go back to Dark Horse because I've been so happy with all the work I've gotten from Sasha and will go back as long as he is tattooing.

Went to Dark Horse for my first tattoo. I worked with Josh and it was excellent. He worked with me on my idea and made sure to get it exactly how I wanted it. He texted me multiple times to check in before the appointment, and kept me talking and distracted through the nearly 3 hour session. He was so kind and you can really tell how much time, attention, and effort he puts into his work and passion for the art. If I get more tattoos, I know exactly where I'm going

Sasha is an exceptional artist with a heart of gold. He’s also a good listener as he’s been able to extract the image out of my brain and tattooed it on me the way I imagined it many times. He’s professional and the shop is nice and clean. Highly recommend him.

Horrible service. Bad tattoo, artist went too deep in my skin. This was back in March. Was intended to be a memorial piece. I made owner aware immediately 3 day's after and have text from her asking me to allow 30 day's to heal. She guaranteed that she would allow me to schedule an appointment specifically with her and she would go over it to fix it for free and its now going on mid June. I emailed twice no response. She only responded on Facebook but continued to put the blame on me the customer and never honored her word in fixing the poor tattoo. Im out of money with a horrible tattoo that looks hideous. Compared to my other's that are 5 to 10 year's old. My old tattoos look way more professional. Im traumatized because this shop ruined my experience and took a memory of my late father and trashed what was supposed to give me comfort. Unprofessional, the owner never took responsibility for her artist and still to this day hasn't kept her word. I got the complete run around and my tattoo still isn't fixed but the shop made a profit and is ok with me being a dissatisfied customer. I will never recommend this place or Sasha to anyone I know.

Sasha was extremely thorough with me, even before booking the consult. He was kind and attentive, going back and forth with me on Instagram, while he had to be closed, during the coronavirus shutdown. I had a very simple concept, and he listened to the concept, where it came from, and why it was important to me. He made my idea, into a perfect tattoo, I could never have hoped to envision. He does absolutely amazing work, and he’s just an all around good guy, which is a statement you won’t hear from me very often, about men. But I’ll be going back to him for more tattoos, for sure!
