Bright Side Tattoo Studio

Easy 5 Star rating! Jonathan and the entire Bright Side Tattoo outfit are second to none! I’ve been getting ink done around the world and didn’t realize that one of the best shops is right around the corner. My wife and I got King/Queen crown tattoos done and the process was so painless and professional that I returned to get a military tattoo that I’ve been hesitant about only two weeks later. I have recommended this studio to all of my friends and family. My advice to anyone looking to get artwork done by talented, highly skillful and efficient artists, is to make Bright Side your first stop!

Ali did an amazing job with my tattoo. It was something soooo meaningful to me. The last thing my grandpa tried to write me while he was on life support. She did it just like it. I tried to not cry. Not because of the pain. It’s because how awesome and beautiful she did. Also her costumer service was on point. It felt like I knew her for years!

I have had work done by Kim and also by Allie. Kim did several tattoos and an amazing dermal 2 years ago. Still love it, still looks awesome. I feel VERY comfortable there and it's a great Valley location. Allie had a really creative way to add to one of my tatoos and did a great job applying it!

BEST TATTOO SHOP IN ALL OF SPOKANE!! Kim is a phenomenal artist! We couldn't be happier with the stunningly gorgeous work she has done! Not to mention, the shop is beautiful and the employees are great! Check them out, you won't be disappointed!!

I’m a little delayed with this review, but had to make sure I put my two cents in anyway. My friend and I got coordinating tattoos here at the end of the September with Jonathan and we had a great experience! I live in New York and was looking around online for a shop for us for when I was out there for her wedding and stumbled across pictures from Brightside and knew it was where I wanted to go. I had no trouble setting up our appointment ahead of time and sharing some inspiration pics. When we arrived Jonathan had multiple drawings for us to choose from and since we were both undecided on an outline or color tattoo he took his time explaining the pros and cons of different sizes and color vs outline, placement, etc etc. Ultimately I went for a slightly smaller color tattoo (my first tattoo with color and I’m obsessed!!) and my friend went for the slightly bigger outline tattoo. The whole experience was amazing- the shop is super clean and welcoming and Jonathan is extremely patient, knowledgeable, and easy to chat with! If I lived in the area I would totally be back!

I was looking for a studio and artist for my first tattoo. From internet research and visiting a number of studios, I was drawn to Bright Side Studio based on (1) cleanliness of the shop; (2) Kim's patient and pleasant demeanor while answering about a hundred of my rookie questions; and (3) a really nice portfolio with some great work. During the actual session, Kim's chair side manner made it a pleasant, even enjoyable experience. And I came away with a really great new first tattoo! RECOMMENDED!

My husband and I had tattoos done by Aly. She is truly amazing. So talented and creative. She worked with us to create a design that was better than I could have imagined. The shop is very clean and professional. I would definitely recommend Bright Side Tattoo.

Absolutely amazing! Kim is wonderful! The shop was very clean and the environment was welcoming. I went in for a simple tattoo, had it done beautifully, and left the shop with a new appointment for another tattoo and an appointment for my husband. Highly recommend!

I had a really great experience here from the moment I walked in through the door. From the outside, it looks like an average shop, but was pleasantly surprised to see how nice of a shop it is. The receptionist was really nice, I briefly met the owner and she was nice. But I’m here to talk about Jonathan who was my artist. I gave him the privilege of doing my first tattoo and he did a great job of giving me the rundown of what to expect and ended up giving me an awesome piece. I did have a really strange hiccup in the healing process that caused some ink to not stay so I needed a touch up pretty early on. Since I was getting it touched up anyways, I asked if he could do a bit more just to try and make it the best it could be (if I didn’t need to get it touched up, I would’ve been perfectly happy). He did that for me and then some more that I didn’t even ask him to do. He went above and beyond to make sure that I was happy with my tattoo and I honestly couldn’t be happier! It turned out amazing and I absolutely love it!

Back in about April I came in as a walk in to get my roses shaded. I took a chance and had someone I had never met. His work looked great but after my tattoo healed, I saw all the laziness of his shade work on the edges. I got rough lines, gaps and it didn’t blend well. He started doing his own thing. Now I don’t think I can go back to get it fixed. He took his time by stopping all the time to have conversations and rang up my bill so high.
Definitely recommend Kim since she does great work but I never get the chance to have her do my tattoos. So looks like I won’t go back.
