I had a great time getting my first tattoo with Phil! He's a super chill guy that does great work for a great price. We had pleasant conversation throughout the whole thing, he was very efficient and did an AMAZING quality job. I had also gotten a second upper lobe piercing in both ears during the same appointment, and so far the tattoo and ears are healing very nicely! I've gotten a lot of compliments already on his clean bold line-work. Thanks so much Phil! ☺️
EDIT: In just under a week and a half my tattoo is already fully healed, and it looks great! My piercings feel great too 😄 Super happy with these!

Went in today to get vertically stacked nostril piercings. Everything started off great, the shop is clean and everyone was very friendly. The trouble started when I was taken back and I didn't get shown the jewelry nor did she check my anatomy to see if she had the correct jewelry. She attempted once and told me she would have to re do it because she didn't like the angle. Regrettably I allowed her to try again. The second attempt was worse than the first as she struggled and cussed her way through trying to get the jewelry in. She did apologize multiple times and offered to do the bottom one for free i just wanted to get out of there at that point. I left with a sore swollen nose without any jewlery just in time for my birthday trip. Now i will have to wait several weeks to try again if i can even get myself to do it. I'm so disappointed. The books of tattoos are amazing and the other clients seemed happy so maybe this was a one off experience. Either way I can't say I'd ever recommend anyone coming here for any service.

Tattoo artist/owner Phil has exceptional knowledge of multiple art styles. He is quite talented at tattoo cover-ups!! I've gotten many created and completed by Phil. I personally think he is one of the best artists east of the Cascades.

Got a freehand tattoo by Phil Sachs at Northwest Body Mod today. He exceeded my expectations and hopes for this tattoo. Not only did he do an amazing job with the design, he was very personable visiting the whole time. Very professional shop and I will be back!! Highly recommend!!

i got my smiley done on monday. the piercer wasn’t here but phil said he could do it and i trusted him. he was really friendly and nice but i believe my anatomy wasn’t right for this piercing and he did it anyway. it was very far back close to my gums and the hole was crooked and because of this the jewelry was wearing down the inside of my lip. maybe it’s just the kind of piercing it was, but regardless i believe it was done incorrectly

Had nipple rings forever, had an MRI which forced me to remove them. After 1 day the hole closed and Phil helped me get new bars back in. He did awesome. The entire experience took 10 minutes. I will definitely be back.
