Alter Ego Tattoo Studio in Kewaskum, WI. Renee and her team, Heather and Ruth are absolutely amazing artists to work with!! They are professional, honest and helpful. Renee has been my tattoo artist for the past 20 years, I wouldn't go anywhere else!! These ladies are are trusted and respected, hands down in my book!!

I love Alter Ego, I will forever be going there now. I just got my nose pierced today by Heather. She is soo sweet and amazing! I was so scared, she walked me through it, and I came out happy as ever😊 all the girls are so nice, place is so clean. Thank you all, especially Heather! When I got done with my piercing she made sure I was okay, and let me sit down for a bit before I left while she went over how to care for my piercing as well. Ill definitely be back soon for my first tattoo🥰

I absolutely love this tattoo shop! All the ladies are always friendly. I’ve never had a problem contacting them for an appointment and their work is so awesome. They never make you feel unwanted there is always good conversation. I’ve gotten my last 3 tattoos there and I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Would HIGHLY recommend the ladies at Alter-Ego Tattoo! I've had my ears pierced and several tattoos done here. Extremely clean and well run. The atmosphere is wonderful and inviting. I brought in my ideas for my tattoo and Ruth worked with me to get to the final piece that I ended up going with. Definitely worth the drive if you don't live close.

I got my first tattoo ever at Alter-Ego when I turned 18 because one of my coworkers highly recommended them. It was done by Ruth and she was the sweetest, super helpful, and most talented artist for someone who is quite nervous about getting their first tattoo. Since then, I have gone back to Ruth twice more and I am eagerly awaiting the next time I can go back to her. For my second tattoo I gave her the general idea of what I was looking for and let her do the rest and it was perfect! I can’t recommend them enough and their studio is so cute and makes you feel extremely comfortable. I even lived in Stevens Point for 7 years and still drove back down here to get my tattoos. Will never go anywhere else and always recommend them to anyone I know looking to get a tattoo!

HEY you, yes you, STOP🛑 scrolling through the reviews to see if this tattoo studio is the place for you. IT IS!! The ladies here do outstanding work! They are always inviting and have great personalities! The studio is like no other. Always super neat and clean but, also welcoming. (There's a fireplace for goodness sakes) I have had all my ink done here and a piercing. I always recommend them to anyone looking to get their first or their one hundredth tattoo. There truly is no place like Alter-Ego Tattoo Studio!❤❤

I had gotten a few tattoos before I knew of Alter Ego. Once I found them I will not go anywhere else. Being a women it is sometimes intimidating going into a tattoo shop. When I went there for the first time it was amazing. To be honest it feels more like a spa than a tattoo shop. All of the girls are amazing, very detailed and patient. My husband and oldest son have also gotten a few tattoos there also and are very pleased with their work!! I’m sure once my youngest is ready for his first tattoo this is where he will be going! One of my most detailed tattoos I gave Renee an idea of what I wanted and put it in her hands to create. The end result is amazing. In my opinion Alter Ego is the best tattoo shop around! You won’t be unsatisfied!!!

I have 2 tats from Renee, one is from her earlier years and the 2nd is from last year. Renee has done my husbands tats and our daughter has had one from Renee and the other one was done by Ruth. We are all very happy with the work that we have.

This tattoo studio is amazing! Very clean and the quality of their work is outstanding! I would highly recommend any of the 3 ladies that tattoo there. The artists really listen to what you want and do everything they can to make it happen. I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else for body art! I would give more stars than 5 if I could!!!

All my work has been done by Renee from her old shop to her new shop she's been the best. She has also done my nose piercing. I love just the feeling in her shop. Like seeing a friend you haven't seen and just start talking and catching up with each other
