I got my belly button and nose pierced here and they BOTH got REALLY infected. My belly button infection has spread like wild fire and is making me really really sick. The piercer did a lot of things carelessly and was a little rude. Would not recommend this place at all of any sort of piercing

Never had a problem with any of my piercings. The next day my ear was infected and bleeding. Extremely painful. Had to take the ring out and put a tiny stud in to get it to a point where it was not infected and in a world of pain.

I'm very proud of my service to our country. And Shawn helped me with expressing that pride. He did an excellent job.

Just got my first tattoo from Shawn I sent him a picture he hit it right on the head he knew exactly what I was looking for his line work is clean beautiful he was attentive to my needs definitely recommend Monkey wrench. This will be my third tattoo my first one from Monkey wrench. Shawnn is also a great conversationalist!

I would highly recommend monkey wrench over all places near by . I came here unknown to anyone who works here and was treated with nothing but respect , On top of that the quality of my tattoo done by shawn was better then i coulda imagined . If your looking for a professional tat comfortable environment and all of the above i would come here 7 outta 7 days of the week . Great experience great staff . Everythings 100% About this place.

I called earlier in the day to see if I could get a lip tattoo, they told me that they were super busy all day and had no time to do such a tiny tattoo. So instead I decided to get my belly button pierced with my friend after a doctors appointment that I had in Madison.. We arrived around 4:15pm and there wasn't a single person in the store other than a man (around 45 y/o) and two twins (around 30 y/o). At first I was shocked that no one was in the store, because I expected them to be as busy and as booked as I thought they would be, because I couldn't get my lip tatted. I brushed that off and asked for a belly button piercing, because thats the next best thing, right? WRONG!!! My friend went first and seemed to be fine, so I went through with the $50.00 piercing. I was trying to make small talk with the twin that ended up doing my piercing (only one of them actually knew how to do anything there) and she wasn't having it. I've gotten many different piercings and they've always went fine and I've never felt uncomfortable, as one shouldn't whenever you're having someone put a hole into your body... I told her about some of my other piercings and told her that the other ones were all like 2/10 pain. She said that this one would have to be a 1/10 then because "it's not going to hurt at all".. WRONG!!! It was the most painful thing I think I've ever endured in my entire life. The piercing hurt a lot for a few days. I've been watching it and cleaning it 2-3 times per day, for about the last 4 days. It's been 4 days since I've gotten this piercing and it's so infected that the top ball on the piece got sucked into my body. Today, after 3 days of it looking like this and me cleaning it nonstop, I took the piece out because I really don't want to get super sick or have something else happen to me that I don't know about yet. I've had multiple people tell me different things to do about fixing it, but none of those seemed to work either. I am now very angry and very broke, considering I spent the last of my paycheck on this item I thought would last a life time, that actually lasted me 4 days. At this point I would honestly just like an apology or my money back, as I am now out $50.00 and have a gigantic, nasty hole in my stomach. This whole thing is very frustrating, and if you (the people at Monkey Wrench) don't see this by tomorrow afternoon I will be calling to see if there's anything you can do to reimburse me for all the hassle and waste of money.

I went in for my first nose piercing and they were very friendly about it. It was super fast and clean. The price isn’t bad either.

I went to get my ear lobes pierced after a suggestion to go here, and I enjoyed it. Piercing can be a bit painful, but they know what they're doing; they mark and measure, use needles instead of a piercing gun (which is better because the gun pierces bluntly and can lead to future problems), and they tell you when they're going to piece, which is quick. Afterwards they give instructions for care. You can get a walk in appointment and get it for a decent price. Getting both ear lobes pierced only cost $30. They do other piercings too, but pricing varies.

I went in to talk to a piercer about getting my tongue webbing pierced. They had a picture of one on their website so I figured they had done them before. When I went in to ask them about them and the piercer was super rude. She told me she didn't do them and when I asked about the picture on their website she basically told me to just go away. They were NOT welcoming and I would give them no stars if possible. Don't waste your time, go to Body Piercings by Courtney instead.
