Everything was going great, came in for the consultation for a custom half sleeve. Paid $40 for the sketch, got a rough sketch three weeks later and then nothing. I reached out multiple times over two months and Greg never got back. Sweet business model of taking our money for sketches and then ghosting customers.

I’ve been tattooed by six different artist around the Midwest. Being tattooed by Greg twice now has been by far my best tattoo experiences. The art he put on me is amazing, the two tattoos he has done for me are by far the pieces I am proudest of....Custom Tattoo is now my go to shop, and Greg is my go to guy!!! Great customer service, amazing and relaxing shop, and they bring your tattoo visions to life.

i’ve never gotten a legitimate tattoo done at a decent shop before i came to custom tattoo. I had a poorly done snake tattoo that felt just not right and i went to greg foster for a couple consultations on how to make it better and fix it. i gave him almost full creative control with a few pointers and examples of style and i left feeling brand new and excited for it to heal up. i got instructions on how to care for it and he walked through the entire process a couple of times before hand. he got me in super quick considering covid (like a couple weeks from my second consultation). I was pleased with the reviews too. I was a little hesitant about it when he drew with sharpee on the tattoo, but i trusted the process and i couldn’t be happier with it. Will be back. Go here.

Top notch tattoo place! My boyfriend and I are both very thrilled with our tattoos. The two guys there were very accommodating and made us feel very comfortable. Greg did an awesome job on my boyfriend's arm tattoo and made me feel very comfortable during my back piece. He also did his best to distract me with some polar bear facts when it was starting to hurt :) I would highly recommend this place. Very clean, bright, and friendly atmosphere. Their fish "puppydog" is also awesome.

AWESOME experience with Custom Tattoo! Had my third tattoo done here and worked with Troy; a consummate professional! I felt like he had my best interests in mind when he was working on the design with me. Shop is clean, comfortable, and the vibe is relaxed.

I got my first tattoo here and it was a great experience. Not only did Greg do a phenomenal job with the tattoo itself but he answered all my questions, made me feel comfortable, and also was just a really good guy in general. I highly recommend this place and Greg to do any tattoo's you need done. He has tons of experience and will do a great job!

I never write reviews but this establishment really deserves a great one and I'm sorry I didn't write one sooner. Greg has done all 9 of my tattoos and no one else is allowed to tattoo me. He won my business over 10 years ago now by being the only person to not tell me I couldn't have what I wanted when I was shop shopping for my first tattoo. He said he would have to redraw it so it could be the size desired but he could absolutely do it for me. The other shops said my lines would blur if I got it that small but apparently they just were too lazy or dumb to redraw it because Greg did and 10 years later it still looks perfect. For my second most recent tattoo about a year ago, I called and set up a consult because I had a pretty vague vision. Greg listened and made sense of my ramblings and knew my style well enough to create a work of art that I have the honor of having permanently inked on my arm. Greg takes the time to know his clients and remembers me every time I call, even when I called for my second tattoo. That is the kind of customer service that sticks in your mind and makes you enjoy letting them stab you repeatedly with needles. That and the fact that the work is phenomenal - clean lines, perfect shading, saturated colors. And the facility is always hospital clean. I can't say enough good and have absolutely nothing bad to say.

Omg first things first, Greg is AMAZING!!! I went in expecting good and got excellent!! He was very professional and kind and the place is extremely clean and organized. I was kind of nervous about him tattooing me because I wanted to cover up some scars, but he was extremely understanding and he did an amazing job, I'm going back in 2 weeks to get my other side done and I cannot wait, thanks so much Greg! 😊

Got my first tattoo here a little over a week ago. Troy did a great job. He worked with me on the design that I wanted, drew one up that fit exactly what I was thinking of, and was super nice and professional. The shop is clean and even though I was anxious about the discomfort/pain at first I quickly relaxed. Really enjoyed my experience with these guys!
