I am actually from Houston where there are TOP NOTCH studios all around town but I had always struggled to find a tattoo studio that I would trust to even do simple work on me when I came to visit family in Bama. Sometimes we would drive to Tenessee just to get 15 minute tattoos.... BUT... Last time I was here we took a chance and came here to get some work done with my nephew and we both immediately claimed this will be our go to place in Bama! The shop is nice and clean. Customer service is great. Donovan is friendly and professional. I was so pleased that I am traveling 800 miles back to get one of his large custom pieces done. This is currently the ONLY shop in the Birmingham/Northeast Alabama area that I would recommend! Great place and great work.

I wanted to get a simple lobe double piercing. I called befor had to ask about pricing and availablity. The reciptionist said that I would have to come in to look around and receive a better estimate. I came in 20 minutes later and I was told after I made the trip and the lady who does the piercings would not be there until 4:00 pm. I felt that it was a huge inconvenience and disappointment that they did not have the staffing to provide a simple piercing during their open hours. I also was upset that I was not told during my phone call the times of when I could get a piercing. If you are looking for a place to get pierced when they say the are open, do not go here because they are deceptive.

I got my industrial piercing and my eyebrow piercing from Cloud Nine. I was so happy with the result. Matt explained every part of the procedure, counted to three and they bother were over. I was so surprised at how professional and amazing Cloud Nine is. I will be 18 soon and plan to get my first tattoo very soon. I'll never go anywhere else!!!!!!!!

I've never gotten a tattoo here, but I have seizures that are GREATLY helped by CBD oil & they have always been MORE THAN helpful & knowledgeable. I'm very thankful for all the time they've taken to explain the difference between the types of CBD etc. & helping me make my choice.

Have two tattoos from there now, one from brian and one from marco. They both are excellent. Everyone there is really nice and its a super clean place. Any work you get there is going to be legit, not this crappy prison tat grabage that seems to be most of the "artists" in this area. Cloud 9 is awesome and I'll be going back for more.

Very efficient, clean, and comfortable. Staff was knowledgeable and helpful, not arrogant or condescending, which oddly I often find in places like that. Oh yeah, I had a nose piercing. Of course it stung a little initially, but it has healed well and im looking forward to getting more "bling"😂

Extremely rude sales associate as well as manager. The products are cheap and poorly made and you will be stuck with it since there is no refunds and no exchanges. When I tried to speak with a manager about my product he proceeded to yell at me from behind the counter in front of other customers and was just extremely rude and unprofessional. There are plenty other places where you can go in Birmingham and get better product and better customer service.

I've dropped in over the years. This trip I stopped in to get a pair of tragus replacement earrings. The pair I purchased irritated my ears within 24 hours. Had to throw then away 😠Disappointed. I'll just have to keep looking.

Horrible manager, sat there for 2 hours. My boyfriend left his wallet at home, filled out the paper work, as I wait for him to get back, (manager) is that what you are SUPPOSED to call .......... Pulls out a strip for me to take an alcohol test. Sitting there waiting on my boyfriend to get back......"said I was nodding off"
Boy please my tat has been messed up for 2 years. I warned it fixed and willing to pay.
One other thing to know. The tatto parlor next door to Cloud Nine is 100% real. That's the way to go. Forget cloud nine unless they find different management
