It's great place to go people are nice environment is clean and they tell you step by step what they're doing I would recommend this place to anybody

I went here to get my septum pierced and did not have a good experience. A few days after it was pierced it got infected, and I went to a different studio to have it looked at. They confirmed that it was infected and also told me it was pierced in the wrong spot, so it would eventually need to be removed and redone. When it was removed I found they used externally-threaded jewelry at Stay Gold, which if you don’t know, is not good as it can damage the tissue where it was pierced. In addition to all of these issues afterwards my experience in the shop was not great either. The piercer was nice but he was blasting heavy metal and wearing sunglasses while he pierced me. The girl setting up the jewelry handled it with no gloves and just sprayed it down with some solution. They also didn’t give any written aftercare instructions.

EDIT after owner response: I'm not sure who you think I am, but you have me confused with somebody else. I never even came back to Stay Gold to get it looked at because I live 2 hours away. That's why I went to another shop in my town to get it looked at, instead of driving 2 hours. Because I didn't even come back to the studio, I didn't have it looked at by the guy who pierced me or talk to him about having it redone. I also never said anything about it being crooked. I don't know your piercer at all besides the one time I met him when he pierced me, so I don't have a "personal thing" against Dani. Your response accusing me of being a liar is extremely unprofessional and a sad way to respond to a customer who had a negative experience. I will say, to be positive, that my sister and her friend who got pierced the same day with me (nostril piercings) had good experiences.

great septum piercing done, believe my piercer was named katie. to the point with cleaning and care instructions, quick to get me into the back and get it done, it's slightly crooked but that's because my nose is asymmetrical, so the crooked look was expected. i believe my piercer was named katie, they explained everything well before even started and repeatedly asked if i was okay before continuing. good experience overall, great atmosphere, will likely return to get my ears pierced soon

Katie did my piercing, and she made me feel super comfortable. She explained the process very well and answered all of my questions.

Waited for almost 2 hours for the artist to get there and he never showed. Super bummed because the tattoo was supposed to be in memory of my dad. Even though I didn't get it, Justin and the rest of the guys were very nice and apologetic. I would definitely be back if someone would actually tattoo me.

UPDATE: Chris was supposed to call me on Tuesday, August 10th, to give me my deposit back and "make it right". I called on Thursday and his apprentice said that he was not available and took down my name and number. It is now 8/17 and still no call and Chris still has my deposit

This was my first tattoo, and i got it during the Friday the 13th back in August 2021. I really first wanna praise the studio, bc i got off work super late and got there like 30 mins before they closed off for the night and they still let me in, even though they had a huge queue. That alone was awesome, but then we were still seen super quick! I had Lana Boles, and they executed my tattoo perfectly! This was my very first tattoo, and they made sure i was aware of everything a newbie should be! They were quick, accurate, and i honestly am so proud to see this lil inkwork whenever i look down. This studio was professional in their work but casual and friendly in their chatter, and I really cannot recommend them enough.

We went on NYE to get tattoos. My artist was Chris, my wife had Justin. We couldn't be happier with our new tattoos. We both had a great experience. We Will definitely be going back. Clean shop, clean equipment and great staff. Chris took time discussing our wants and was super helpful and personable. Highly recommend this shop as well as Justin and Chris. Thanks.
