There are hundreds of tattoo shops in San Diego. Anyone can get a bad tattoo. Seth Reynolds at Funhouse Tattoo in PB does not let that happen. From the day I first walked in with ideas in my head to the minute I finished my final touch ups, Seth took care of me all the way. He is a perfectionist and will not put his name on a bad tattoo. He will also not let you walk away unsatisfied. I got a 6 hour back piece that hurt like a mother. Seth was really flexible with his schedule and accommodated me in every way I asked. He is as talented as they come. I will most definitely continue to come to Funhouse for future ink! Thanks Seth!

My first experience here, when I went to get a piercing done, was okay. But Paulie was such a jerk the next time I went there to get my nose ring out. It's a latched nose ring that I got from India and maybe he hasn't seen the kind before but instead of trying to open the latch, he just started tugging at it, causing me more pain (and later on worse bleeding) than when I actually got pierced. And when he couldn't get it out, he was just really rude and mean to me, saying he doesn't have time for this and implying that as if it was my fault to feel so much pain and not let him continue with his crude method which obviously wasn't working. Although he asked me to wait so he could attend to his other customers first, which I can understand, the manner in which he spoke was really unprofessional. Wouldn't recommend him at all!

I was referred to this shop by the guys at Hodad's in Ocean Beach. Parking can be a challenge in the Pacific Beach area, so definitely be patient and prepared to walk a bit. I got my tattoo done by Rudi Redman who is new to the the shop (not to tattooing) and not on the website yet. She is/was so awesome to consult with on the piece and in the end I gave her complete autonomy to design it the way she wanted and ended up with an amazing tattoo that I'm proud to wear. You'll want to make an appointment if possible since it is a busy shop and walk in's can't always be accommodated.

Friday the 13th tattoo. Was worth the wait. The young lady that was at the front desk was awesome and laid back. The artist was simply amazing. It was supposed to be on the arms of legs only but he did it anyways. He added shading too. I was a bit nervous about not doing my research but his art work was very impressive. If I lived closer I would make him my artist.
