Had a tattoo session with Angelica, was supper friendly and comfortable, she was making sure how I was doing throughout the session. Other staff members were very friendly as well. They were very helpful when making my appointment, got my price quote. Overall the best tattoo experience I had.

I really wanted to love this shop but unfortunately did not have a great experience. That being said Jocelyn did our tattoos and she made us all feel super comfortable did a good job.

We were a group of 3 wanting matching tattoos. We got there really early Sunday at the recommendation of the person who was checking in Saturday so we could see our preferred artist without a long wait, and were first in line.

We were originally told we might not all be able to get the same artist because they had to keep things moving for walk in days (essentially we would back up the artist was my understanding). After this initial warning we might not all get the same artist they completely disregarded our request and did not communicate with us on this any further. They ended up putting all of us with the same artist anyways, but not the one we requested. It seemed like our artist had known she was going to tattoo all 3 of us but no one had clued us in.

This is frustrating because they ended up giving the artist we requested to the girl behind us in line for multiple tattoos. They did not let us know who our artist would be until after I inquired after seeing them go back, and pushed back when they gave an unclear answer. This was a first tattoo for some of us so we’d wanted to be comfortable with the artist beforehand.

I understand we picked a predrawn design and it probably doesn’t actually require a specific artist, but the lack of communication and disregard for what we requested so that they could push more people through is so frustrating. I think their artists do good work but if you want to come here be prepared to be assertive and over-communicate and advocate for yourself.

I went here for my first tattoo back in 2019 and loved Mel’s work so I keep coming back even though I no longer live in CA. There was some miscommunication on scheduling during my last visit and Mel was apologetic and took good care of me. They run an honest, clean and professional studio that is ran by a great family (her husband and kids are all tattoo artists there). I went in for a eyebrow microblading touch up and a small dainty tattoo…and Mel delivered! I love how precise she is and is a true perfectionist..which is exactly what you want in a tattoo/aesthetic artist. Highly recommend this spot - you won’t be disappointed!!!

Got my first ever tattoo here on a walk-in day this past October. I arrived 30 minutes prior to opening and was second in line. About 15 minutes later, an employee came out to ask for my name, phone number, and tattoo idea. I was allowed inside and directed to the front desk where I gave another employee a thorough explanation of my tattoo idea to make sure it met their walk-in requirements. I was provided a quote, which I accepted, and then signed a waiver. I can’t recall her name, but an Asian artist with 2 years of experience did my stencil and tattooing. She was very nice, knowledgeable, and made me feel comfortable asking questions. My 2x3 thin, red outlined tattoo took just under an hour from start to finish. I was and am still thrilled by the end result!! The artist was kind enough to take a well-lit picture of me at their selfie station before I went to pay.

Just wanted to give a shout out to the team right here at Soul Imagez Tattoo. I walked in on Sunday without any appointments and they are still able to help me out. It is a small tattoo so it was quick but if you are doing something big I would recommend getting an appointment to make your experience flawless.

Anyway starting with the reception team. Very welcoming. Explained the whole process pretty well to me. They worked with me for my design and take their time with any adjustments until you are happy. Gave me all the information I needed including the price quote upfront after we agreed upon a design so you know what you are getting into.

I waited minimal time despite having no appointment. My tattoo artist Nick was very patient with me. Explained the process very well since this is my very first time getting a tattoo. He worked with me for any small adjustments until I am completely satisfied and talked thru the tattoo process because I was a bit nervous.

Overall, I can't stressed how happy I am with this location and the employees. I will be coming here for more future tattoos.

P.S. They only accept Cash or Zelle so please prepare well.

This place deserves a 10-star rating! From start to finish, the warmth and the skill, Melanie and her team are a giant force to be reckoned with. They made sure all their clients are happy and well taken care of. Its not a surprise why they get all these perfect ratings. . Theyre that good and so talented. I'm so glad I came
to this studio and trusted them with a design that was personal
to me and reminds me of my Dad. The

I emailed and messaged 2 artists who were featured on their Yelp page but no one ever responded! If the shop does not bother responding to new customers I wonder how they would treat customers who need touch up !

From the beginning they were super accommodating to my friend and I, we ended up having to change our tattoos and they were very nice about quickly changing the design after we emailed them. We weren’t sure how it would be by the looks of the outside of the old building but as soon as we walked in we were warmly welcomed in a clean and nice environment. Richie was able to do exactly what we wanted for a small tattoo and did an incredible job. Replicated handwriting from a card perfectly. We’ll definitely be back!

I got my first tattoo here and all the workers were very welcoming and super helpful. I felt really comfortable throughout my whole time there. I came in on one of their walk in days and ended up waiting about half an hour. They are really patient with you and take their time making sure it’s 100% what you want and placement too. I got tatted by Alyanah and she was the sweetest and did an amazing job I would definitely come back!

Went for a walk in tattoo this past weekend. Wanted to try this place because the work looked great and they had great reviews... WRONG. I wanted something super simple, a small semi colon on my wrist. UNETHICALLY WITHOUT asking me, they put me with an apprentice and I am extremely unhappy with this tattoo. They were also planning to charge me $80 without telling me apprentices were only $25. I would have never consented to an apprentice tattooing me because I wanted this tattoo to be perfect because it means so much to me. I am beyond upset and angry with how unprofessional and unethical this was. I would absolutely not recommend this shop to anyone no matter how good the other artists are since the front desk clearly doesn't know what they are doing. I am not only hoping this is fixable, but now I am going to have to wait for it to heal and find someone to fix it, paying more money. Trust me when I say it is worth finding a different shop to get tattooed at. I have attached the stencil of what I wanted and what I actually got.
