Went in for a family tattoo with my mom and my sister. We were all taken care of immediately by the super sweet receptionist. I wanted watercolor because I have another tattoo that is water color and I LOVE it however, the artists that were there were honest with me and said they don’t have too much experience in that realm of tattoos. 1. Greatly appreciated the honesty 2. Impala Pat came out and pitched an idea to me that still involved the color that I wanted 3. I really let him do whatever he thought would look best and it came out beautiful! I trusted him to tattoo an awesome piece on my arm and he came through! So, thank you Pat! Also thank you to Nigel for tatting my mom and sister! I’ll see Impala Pat again next time I come to Fort Walton!

Went and got the first part of my tattoo done by Kyle at Defiance. He is a great artist and gave me a perfect tattoo! Will recommend to many people!

My wife went here and got her septum pierced, the young guy who did it was more focused on talking and running his mouth than focusing on her piecing and what he was doing, he messed her nose up bad and made it bleed quite a bit, he also tightened the wring so tight we had to go to a new piercing shop just to get it undone and changed. Dude island his skills are a total joke and so is defiance, go anywhere but here for your piercings and tattoos.

My family and I go to Navarre beach every year and always make our way to Ft. Walton. It was our 35th anniversary. We wanted to celebrate w/ a bang! What better way then to get a tattoo that is a memory we have shared for so long and for many years to come. There were 10 of us and we all agreed to mark this day that was symbolic to us. Dan as front man, was very greeting and ready to satisfy our needs. Even found out he knew one of our family members in passing! Josh, was our tattoo artist. Did all 10 of us! Good attitude and cut up w/ us as he got to witness 8 out of 10 we’re getting their first tattoo!! Never got her name, but was also an employee, whose shift was over, and waiting for shop to close. She as well joined in on our experience and fun! For it being our last night before we had back home (NEW ORLEANS⚜️), it was so worth it! I recommend this tattoo shop, and hope we get the same experience, if we happen to be passing by and want to ink another memory. Thanks again guys for a great experience!

They are great! Especially Nigel. He even told me on a $500 dollar tattoo he's happy with five dollars and a handshake for a tip. It comes from his belief that servers shouldn't be tipped adequately and it's a heck of a deal! I would definitely make sure your next tattoo is here with Nigel! And remember, try to save those bucks! You're not paying his salary!

I was the witness to the Michael Jenkins review below, my friend and I drove from TN for a tattoo by Josh which isn’t a new thing for us as he’s the only one we go too for our work. As we were checking in both the man and his girlfriend had attitudes with us for no reason. Once Josh admitted to having them put in the calendar on the wrong date, they became irate and started threatening everyone in the shop including Josh and the man at the desk. The woman reached over the counter where not only our paperwork was but other clients which holds confidential information on them, the man did not grab her what so ever but he did grab the paperwork out of her hand, which was the right call. Josh was completely professional throughout the entire encounter and gave them their deposit back and also offered to reschedule them for later that day or another time. I will tell you first hand that this shop and these artist are completely professional and always willing to go the extra mile for their clients. We will always be a returning customer and look forward to seeing Josh at a convention he’s coming to next month.. Dont believe everything you read on the internet, this shop is definitely a 5 star shop and definitely worth visiting if you are ever in the area!

I got my piercings done with Josh. He was professional, respectful and did a wonderful job. He took his time and made sure I got the exact piercings I wanted.

My fiancé and I went in to get someone new ink done and the staff was nice from the start. They listened to what we wanted, the pricing was definitely fair, and our tattoos came out amazing! Pat and his team are awesome! We even had our 7 year old with us, who was treated very nicely, and was even given some fake tattoos of his own! Will definitely be going back!

Went here with a friend, don’t know the guys name that did my tattoo but his line work was horrendous. My tattoo looks terrible and I paid 120 for it. Overpriced garbage.

Oh and also, their whole spiel about “talented artists are prime” Josh’s ability to TRACE A STRAIGHT LINE matches that of a 3 year olds.

Came here on vacation, visited multiple shops with a short story and idea for my tattoo. Nobody cared and was way more interested in what I should not do....Finally!! After a long search.... walked in to Defiance and not only was greeted with a smile and professional approach, immediately felt comfortable. Not only did my tattoo turn out amazing!!!! They went above and beyond to make this tattoo my own. He said to me, we sell experiences, not tattoos! ❤️Thank you for my beautiful work, adding to my story, and the friendliest staff ever!!!
