This past sunday, June 14, I went here to get a tattoo done. My uncle drew up a design for me, but he passed away a few weeks ago. He FINISHED the design the night he passed. I show them the design. I told them my story, and how much it meant to me, and they said they COULD NOT do it. It was too busy for them, and not their style. One of the guys then proceeded to print off a design that they thought suited me better, and it was not what I wanted. They printed off a freaking statue of an angel holding a baby. And he said "oh we can just put black hair on it." The tat I wanted was of my grandfather holding a baby to represent all the babies I lost during pregnancy. I told the guy no, that's not what I want. He said that he couldn't help me. I left there in TEARS! This tattoo meant sooo much to me. I walked a few doors down, and found this awesome place and they were able to do my tattoo. My artist at Miami Tattoo Co was Amazing! Don't go to Miami ink or as they call themselves love hate tattoos. They let the TV show go to their head. They are overpriced, over rated, and poor customer service. I thought if anyone could do my tattoo, it would be them..I thought they were the best, but boy did they change my views of them!! So if you are looking for a good tattoo. Go to Miami Tattoo Co...Amor and JB is AMAZING! They really understood my needs!

Got my first tattoo done at this place. Overall I would have to rate them as excellent. They did a good job and most of all calmed my nerves while I was getting inked up.

Understand what Love Hate Tattoo Studio is: a shop specializing in template tattoos. No longer are they a custom shop that specializes in artistry. That's ancient history now that Ami is focused on profits moreso than on brand.
I went to find out if I could work with an artist that could draw a design with me for a photorealistic piece. Negative. They wouldn't do it. I *HAD* to bring in a printed picture. No vision of the artist, no conceptual changes, just print it, stencil it and tattoo it.
I wouldn't say this place is overrated, because they probably do a great job tattooing template tattoos. But, if you're looking for a custom piece, they no longer have the talent. Instead, be prepared to spend a lot of money for a template tattoo that you can get from any shop for 1/2 the price.
My expectations were high, and they significantly under impressed me. So, I'm looking elsewhere for a true artist instead of an assembly line tattoo factory.

If I could give this place no stars I would. I went there 2 seperate occasions. 1st was just to check it out and see the place and staff and see if they could draw up something for me to commemorate my recent marriage, a honeymoon tat! It was getting late so we said we would come back the following day because we had an appointment in Key Largo cuz I was seriously on my honeymoon. We drive almost 2 hrs to come back on 1/16/18 and we shoot my ideas and some pics to the front desk guy and he said he'd get someone to draw some stuff up. I wanted vintage style key with a heart shaped diamond in the bow or end , wife's name on the shank, etc. There's more to it and the story but this would take way too long. He seemed very negative and kept saying stuff like you shouldn't put a name on, can't put that much detail...I had already asked him if he were an artist and he said no and he just barely worked there 6 months...I am not a professional but I have alot of work on my body already and friends that have shops and that are artists as well. I know a little bit about tattooing. So we're waiting and I walk back up to the counter and see this guy trying to draw up the outline. Anyway, he comes and puts the drawing down in front of me and if the artist who was supposed to do the tatt, Darren Brass drew this up then.... yeah.. I wish I had a picture that's how bad it was. The letters of my wife's name literally were all lower case plain Jane regular cursive. I ask him to give it back and change it up. He comes back few minutes later and he literally just put an extra line on each of the letters to try and fix it up. That's the point I about lost it. I ask him if the artist drew this up and let me speak to him and he said I usually go between and speak to him. I say, so this guy Darren is going to give me a tattoo and won't come and introduce himself or speak for themself? And I'm like why are you drawing up my tattoo pattern anyway? What's going on here? I tell him "you know we came from Dallas Texas here and literally drove almost 4 hours out of my way to come back this day on my honeymoon to do this. I'm like you guys are ruining a special moment of our lives dude?" This guy had no answers and said there is no one in charge there for me to speak to. I am still so upset that I tried to get some work done at a so called reputable shop and was treated like this. So disappointed. I ended up not getting the work done yet since I just got home and ended our honeymoon. It's just not the same ya know. This was supposed to be a special thing for me and my wife. I guess this shop doesn't care for it's customer's regardless of how much that work would have meant. I have friends here offering to do it but I'm kinda bummed out about it. Thanks guys. Karma is a Beast sometimes.
