Polar Tattoo Studio

I’ve been going to Polar since March this year and every time I’m blown away by the talent and the interactions with the staff. I usually go to Leight but I’ve actually gotten tattoos from multiple artists from the studio and every single one was extremely professional and so nice. My tattoos always exceed my expectations and I love how every time I go in I get to talk to everyone because it’s such a collaborative atmosphere. It’s a truly a gem and I’m so happy Jared opened it. ❤️❤️

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! I can't say enough about Jared and his work! It had been a few years since my last tattoo. I'd been waiting to find an artist whose style I really liked. Luckily, I found Jared. I LOVE his work! Every single aspect about my appointment and tattoo were pure perfection. Jared listened to me and created the perfect piece. He tattooed with a light hand. He was professional, but engaging. His shop is spotless and hygienic, yet very welcoming. All of these positives with fair pricing is hard to find, but I found it with Polar Tattoo Studio. I waited for my tattoo to heal before reviewing, because that, to me, is an additional indicator of a quality artist. Guess what?! ... Easy healing AND I'm even more impressed with Jared's work! I'm booked for my next tattoo with Jared. Can't wait!

Polar Tattoo Studio is such a welcoming shop. Everyone there is so friendly and professional. Very clean studio and such amazing artists. Melissa was my artist and exceeded any expectation I had for my tattoo. If you’re looking for a tattoo shop I highly recommend this place. I will definitely be a returning client.

Jared is amazing and his delicate line art style is so detailed and holds color so well. I've recommended him already to a few of my friends and everytime I look at my piece I'm so happy. It healed up beautifully and I love being able to roll up my sleeves and show it off.

I visited the location Tuesday in the evening. There was only one person working a black male and there were 2 other customers from St.Pete who seemed to have an appointment. I wasn't able to get the black males name bc he never assisted me. He only asked did me and my friend come together after that there was absolutely no further acknowledgement. I waited a little over 10 minutes just to ask if this place had any Polynesian artists if so, if they did Polynesian tribal tattoos as I am Polynesian as well. But for whatever reason this black male never offered any help. We waited at the door as he continued to have a conversation with the 2 other women and prepare for their sternum tattoo. The place has a really cool vibe, nice lounge area, seems to be clean but as far as customer service it's absolutely awful. The scrawny black male was rude and absolutely left a bad taste in my mouth. Will not be revisiting. Due to poor customer service I'm giving the location one star.

I went to Polar for the first time for their Friday the 13th flash! @leight.inks did a small mushroom with an eye on my ankle and I couldn’t be happier with it! Definitely coming back!

Sam is the only artist I will go to, I actually travel from Atlanta to see him about once a year because his work is that perfect. He is friendly, cool, down to earth and super knowledgeable about where/how to fit your art to make it work, very important to have a helpful and reliable artist when you’re making a lifelong commitment! I have 6 tattoos by him, and all of them exceeded my expectations!! Can’t wait to get more done by Sam soon!

I had my thigh piece done here last month by Meli. It was such an amazing experience! The studio was beautiful and very clean. Meli was amazing and listened to everything I asked and ensured that I was comfortable and happy with the design. I could not be happier with my experience and how the piece came out. Thanks Polar!! I recently traveled 3 hours to Tampa to get a leg sleeve done by Sammy at this shop, and I could not be more satisfied with the outcome! From the moment I entered the shop it was a welcoming atmosphere as I was greeted by Mac at the front desk and the variety of snacks, beverages, and seating areas for customers. Once I began discussing the design of my tattoo with Sammy he was very helpful from start to finish with ways to receive the best possible outcome for the both of us. Honestly, with his help I believe it turned out better than my original idea. During the actual tattooing part of the session, we spent 6 hours together which included listening to music, watching Netflix, and having interesting conversations. Overall, out of my three tattoo experiences, this is by far the best one and I would 10/10 recommend Sammy! (IG: tattoosammyy)
