I got my 🌟first tattoo ever!🌟 with Tori and I can't stop squealing & telling literally everyone I interact with about her & the shop. What a brilliant artist. I've thought about this tattoo for several years, and her work is beyond what I could have ever imagined it would be. I'm so excited to get more art done by this absolute gem of a person. I have no doubts that eventually she will be booked months and months in advance!! Everyone else at the shop is extremely kind & friendly as well. I appreciate how I was treated by Tori and other staff, & I can't wait to come back for my next piece!! Thank you SO much Tori. 🥺

I've gone to Diligent Lobotomy for a few years now, since I moved to the area, and today when my friend asked me what tattoo shop I recommend, I realized I've never left a review, but DL is the best! I've been pierced numerous times by Derrick & have been tattooed by all the artists -- except for the new, probationary artist (& that's only because I haven't had time yet) -- & I've never loved a shop more!
They are clean, professional, funny, and treat their customers like welcomed guests without being overbearing or intense. It is a chill, nerdy, fun environment.
- Eddy is the fastest, most proficient tattooist I've ever experienced; and he's a delight to talk to -- he runs the shop incredibly & is insanely creative. (p.s. you should bring him a diet mtn dew if he's tattooing you)
- Heather always has cool flash & does some pretty awesome design work. I always look forward to appointments with her. I also think she's one of the best people I know.
- Derrick is known as "the gentle piercer," and this translates to his tattoos as well. The flash I've gotten from him is the coolest, and I swear I barely felt him tattooing, but it looks phenomenal. He's also a quiet guy, but might be the funniest of the group.
- Tori is an absolute GEM! If you want a creative, fun, sweet artist to do a color piece, she is the one! & if you want to, in the middle of the appointment, give MothMan fishnet tights, she's down!
I've brought friends to the shop, and I know we'll all keep going to them for years to come.

Eddy the owner is so incredibly nice and very knowledgeable! The shop has an incredibly chill and comforting vibe and I always feel very welcomed and taken care of. I’ve gotten 6 pieces from Tori (unbirthday ink) now and just absolutely love them all! Great place for all your tattoo and piercing needs!!

i walked in super nervous about getting my first piercing but the staff immediately made me feel right at home! Derrick did my nose piercing and was super nice and patient. He walked me thru the process and made it feel less intimidating. The process was super quick and painless! I was in and out under 15 minutes! Definitely recommend Diligent Lobotomy Tattoo!

Racist establishment. Wanted a red tattoo and one of the male tattoo artist said that the color would not show. Mind you I have a back tattoo with red. After I told him I still wanted the red, he had an attitude and was mad aggressive with my neck tattoo. It’s been a year later and the red is still showing. Definitely a traumatizing experience. If you are of color please don’t go here, they do not deserve our services.

Clean and professional one of the kindest shops I’ve been in. I got my first tattoo here as well as a few piercings and it healed amazing and I’m planning on getting a lot more tattoos here on out. One of my fav shops in atl for tattoos & piercings! Diligent Lobotomy Tattoo is the most welcoming, friendliest, coolest, nerdiest tattoo shop I’ve ever been too. This place is such a gem, I got my first color tattoo done by the lovely Anna Loux, and I can’t stop staring at it. My husband had the giggles with how cute and awesome it looks. I will definitely continue to get all my body art done here! The team there has such great chemistry and shop is so amazing, it’s just that feel good vibe you get while being there, great music playing all the time, and they really make you feel so welcomed. I can’t say enough about the team and the shop...go see for yourself, because it’s just that great! Thank you Anna, I love Ellie the elephant! Can’t wait to be back.
