They got me in last minute before my flight and salvaged a bad trip out to the islands. I couldn't be happier with how everything worked out. The artist-Matt was extremely professional, made me feel confident and very comfortable, came up with perfect design for the time we had before my flight , had the softest touch and his line work came out phenomenal! His attention to detail and placement was dead on and I will definitely make a trip out to see him for future masterpieces! Highly recommend! Matt and Nick are awesome guys who do great work! Hands down the most chill and welcoming shop Iβve been to. Also, Samson is very nice although I only talked to him for a short amount of time!

Had a wonderful experience at Pacific Rootz. Decided to get tattooed while on a family trip. Nick did a great job. Even tolerated my yelping. Tattoo turned out wonderful. Very happy with it. Thanks Nick.

Got my first tattoo here and Kai was really helpful and patient in picking and modifying the design. The studio is very clean too. Definitely a good place to get your tattoo here. I got a forearm band. My wife and I came the next day again and she got a tattoo on her lower right leg, again done by Kai. And I got another one on my right bicep (a small one though).
We made this our tattoo spot and we would only come to Maui to get tattoos by Kai. Thank you Kai for this wonderful experience.

Been getting my leg done for years and every time I go I can't believe what Samson comes up with! All free hand! Highly recommend this shop and can not recommend Samson high enough. Everyone there is super friendly, very professional and a real Hawaiian feel to the place, true Aloha spirit. For small or big pieces i would definitely say you should go get a tattoo here!!

I made an appointment back in June for this tattoo shop as I got my first one done here and wanted to add onto it. Some things happened and long story short. Nick ended up picking up my tattoo. He did such an incredible job! I was nervous at first because it wasn't the same artist as the first one I had done. When I walked into the shop he had drawn up a tattoo that was far beyond my expectations! The fact that he was able to pull off such great work without much notice that he would be taking on the tattoo is insanely impressive! All in all I couldn't be happier with my tattoo and experience working with Nick. Hands down I would recommend him and will be returning to get more work done by him as soon as I can!
