Octopus Ink Tattoo

Husband and I were on the island for our honeymoon called Jim our last day here to see if he could squeeze us in and he did. Loved his studio with all his art work, very clean, professional, and good conversation. Great experience and memory made.

When in Maui!
While walking around shopping we spotted this place. We talked about possibly getting a tattoo to remember this amazing vacation and absolutely beautiful island. Walked in and talked to Jim who is also the owner, who informed us he had a slot in between some scheduled appointments and could fit us in. We got super lucky he was able to do this as it was our last full day here. Jim was an absolute pleasure to deal with very personable and had great conversation while being tattooed. Shop was very clean and he took all sanitary precautions. Shop is small, I believe he is the only one providing services there so it was comfortable. An hour later we were done and had awesome tattoos to remind us of the amazing adventures we had. If you are in Maui I recommend stopping by to get some work done. Can't promise he can get you in same day, unless you get lucky too, however you can also call and see. Thank you Jim for your flexibility and great work. I highly recommend this place if your in Maui. It's located around the Maalaea Harbor.

What an incredible experience from beginning to end. Jim was so accommodating to squeeze us into his schedule, an accomplished artist, and very fair pricing. An amazing tattoo for both my wife and I, was surprisingly fast and so detailed, I can't extrapolate enough on how impressed I was. You can tell he loves what he does and is passionate about his trade. One of our best retail experiences let alone tattoo experiences! 10/10

Met Jim next door as he was selling us on Johnny Heist Pizza. Luckily, he had space available. Was the most friendliest tattoo artist I have ever met. Very comfortable and positive experience. Also, check out his art for sale. Highly recommend!! Love Only!

Not sure who would ever rate this guy anything less than a 5 star review. Went in with a random idea for a paddle, and he freehand drew within minutes. My wife and I both walked in and got some great ink. He will be our go to in Maui from now on. Beautiful artwork as well.

Amazing artist and nice shop. Don't judge a book by its cover! This man may not look like your typical tattoo artist but has a ton of experience, a steady hand and loves what he does.

My boyfriend and I got tattoos on our vacation in Maui. Jim was very professional and very personable. We both enjoyed our conversation with him while being tattooed. Lots of laughs and a part of our trip I’ll never forget. We are both extremely happy with our tattoos he did an amazing job. His shop is also very clean and has incredible artwork all over.

Wanted a plumeria tattoo before I left Maui. I called in yesterday and Jim was able to squeeze me in less than an hour later. Did a great job on the tattoo and was a great price for the size. Jim was a great guy, loved talking to him while getting tattooed. Probably the nicest artist I’ve had and I’ve been to more than a dozen shops during travels. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to get a tattoo, local or visiting. His paintings are incredible as well, definitely check them out before you leave the shop! Beautiful depictions of Maui locals and scenery.

Jim was able to bring life to the idea K had on my mind for the last 10 years. I was extremely nervous but I thought he was professional and I he had talent. My tattoos (2 in one sitting) turned out beautifully. I get a compliment everyday on his piece of art on my arm. I’m thrilled. Plus, we had a great day with interesting conversation. He was thoughtful in making sure I was comfortable and dedicated to making sure that everything was clean. I’d recommend him to anybody if you can make it to Maui.

Jim is the absolute best!! He has given me and many of my friends tattoos and we LOVE them. He is all around awesome with his great business, creativity and kind heart! Not to mention he has the cutest poodle that hangs out in the shop and he plays the best music :-) Get all your tats done with Jim, he will transform your skin into beautiful artwork that you will cherish FOREVER!!!!!
