Level Up Tattoos

HORRIBLE!!!! Do not go!! I scheduled an appointment for my friend and two days before was forced to reschedule by the crew! When my friend was FINALLY able to come in and get their tattoo done, their artist was at least 2 hours late! They kept upping the price of the tattoo and changing stuff about it when it was getting done. The customer service is also terrible. Do not waste your money by going here. Go somewhere professional.

Purchased a gift certificate($1000) in June for the month of October, confirmed dates and times only to find out that the spots were never booked. Messages were read but not responded to on both the shop's IG and Eryka's IG. It wasn't until I saw comments on IG from other's who'd also sent payment for certificates and who were still waiting to be booked, that I asked for a refund (which was denied). One person had paid over a year prior and was still trying to make communication with her. I had simultaneously booked time with her apprentice Evi who was very sweet but who rescheduled me hours before my appointment on two separate occasions due to Eryka staying in McCall an extra day and then being sick. I tried to be understanding and flexible and I didn't want to post publicly or write a negative review but at this point I feel obligated to warn others because it's clear this isn't an isolated incident and because she's done little to nothing to make it right. It's a lot of money for someone to spend to not get the service they paid for but people are also paying to have her art on their body for the rest of their lives.. it's sad to see such mismanagement of that honor and lacking pride of ownership. She is a talented artist and I hope she figures out how to manage her schedule and business without putting people in the position she's put myself and others in.. I work hard for my money too and as sweet as she may be, I can't sit in her chair for 8+ hours after being treated so expendably.

Paid deposit for a tattoo to get done and when the day came Eryka was out of state and never informed me so she bailed on my appointment. Rescheduled a few times and had it planned what I wanted and wasn’t able to get appointment because she got sick. Tried rescheduling AGAIN and now my messages just get left on read and they won’t get back to me on a new appointment. Thanks for taking my deposit and not fulfilling anything even though YOU bailed on me!

They've been working on a sleeve for me for several months. Eryka and staff are super friendly, and it has a great warm vibe in there. Very lgbtq friendly

I was blown away by my experience at Erykane (now Level Up). I have now had work done by Alex and Eryka and not only are they gifted artists, but super chill and easy to talk to. When you are spending hours with someone driving a needle into your skin, it sure helps if they are easy to get along with! The shop itself is awesome. Classic arcade games kept my wife entertained while she waited her turn. The shop is clean and they obviously place cleanliness and equipment sterility as a top priority, which is not something that should be considered as a given for tattoo shops in Idaho. I am itching to get in for my next piece and can't wait to see these guys again! Pictured is Eryka's work based on a song by reggae band The Movement, as well as a video of Joshua Swain, the band's frontman, taking photos of her work! He said it was the most dope Movement tattoo he had ever seen and posted it to their social media. Alex put a matching bee in black and white on my wife. Such a fun night with those guys at their shop!

I love the setting. The artists are all extremely talented and friendly. I feel comfortable with any of them. They do fun events frequently. I've won prizes several times.

You can tell that the shop, now called Level up, has gotten an awesome facelift and the shop has gotten rid of some dead weight (the old rude shop manager guy) I was in there yesterday and the shop was busy and looked like it had come to life! I was in there briefly to look at some things and Eryka was working on an amazing animal print piece, Kingsley was rocking some script, jade and Kyle were doing some drawings. You could just tell from the vibe of the shop that they are a family there and that the artist love what they do and their clients. Last time I was in was about 2 years ago and it just had this “walk on egg shells vibe” and now, it’s light and happy and peaceful. I think getting rid of the manager was the best thing they ever did. Can’t wait for my appointment in June this will be my 3rd tattoo from them.

Amazing Shop full of talented artists! No matter what kind of art you are into there is somebody there you can get to give you an awesome tattoo

Eryka is extremely talented. Almost a year later and my tattoo still blows me away. She's worth the price and the wait!

Kyle is awesome! Such a cool dude and does amazing work. He’s definitely my wife and I’s go-to artist from now on. Only downside is response time to get ahold of people at the shop, but with Covid and all it’s somewhat understandable. They could use a part time social media/scheduling assistant. Still 10/10 recommend.
