Pink Rhino Tattoo

I have a couple different tattoos from a couple of different places from moving around, and this shop was by far the worst experience I've had and left me feeling down. Long story short, one of the artists (Kris) promised me a design for a piece he said he was idealizing, and never gave me the design. He also took on doing the tattoo and he knew nothing about what it was (it was a chess tattoo and he didn't know what chess was), and decided that any constructive criticism or teamwork that I had would offend him AFTER he neglected to give me a design. I trusted his artistic instincts at first, but it was one big ego trip, and he seemed to have an attitude after I could tell he had no idea what he was putting on my body. Once he made an obvious mistake on the inside of my arm and I was standing in the shop with him looking at it in the mirror, his response was "nobody is going to see that anyway."

Regardless, I decided I'd give Pink Rhino the benefit of the doubt, and spoke to the manager, Randy, to see if they could do any cover ups and had him admit the mistakes. After the manager promised me they'd make this right and do cover ups, the artist who would perform the cover ups hasn't gotten back to me in 2 months. It has left me sad, disappointed, and feeling like I have to get laser removal or a cover up elsewhere.

Long story short, this place has management and a culture that is not customer friendly, and they have a slow response rate. Attached are pictures of the obvious mistakes on my tattoo. The pawns on my arm are all different sizes (the artist used a strict stencil for each one), the checkerboard goes over the lines (directly told him not to do that and he just lazily threw it on my arm) and the checkerboard on the inside of my arm near my armpit is crooked and obviously incorrect. I've had some compliments on some parts of the tattoo, then others that ask if a mistake was made. Do not trust the management of this place, it might burn you!

I absolutely loved my experience at Pink Rhino. My piercer, Matthew, was fantastic. I was unsure of where I wanted my piercing at first, and he helped me figure out exactly what kind of piercing I wanted, then did an amazing job with the piercing itself. Their shop also has a piercing guarantee, so I know that if I have any problems at all with my new piercing, they're there to help me out. I will DEFINITELY be going back for my next piercing!

My friend and I were looking for a last-minute tattoo place. We were walking around in the city and it was a spur of the moment decision, it can be kind of tricky to find a tattoo place that’ll do a tattoo for you on such short notice and still do a good job. We walked into Pink Rhino and after about an hour, they had perfectly drawn up beautiful designs based off of our references. The tattoo process was great, I had Zach do mine and he was extremely professional, took his time, and was thorough. My friend had Orlando do hers and they also did a fantastic job. Regardless of the fact that they close at 10o’clock, I asked them in the middle my tattoo process if I could get the other side of my nose pierced and they were more than happy to do it. The piercing process was quick and easy and Randy really knows how to make you feel comfortable. If you’re looking for a tattoo, last minute or scheduled, this is a place to go!

Great experience! Got my nips pierced by a guy named Matthew and he was friendly and efficient, def knew what he was doing. Thanks to his advice the healing process has been a breeze.

randy candy is the best piercer ever! even their apprentice was great. they asked me about previous piercings, tattoos, etc to make sure i had the easiest experience possible. it went pretty fast too! i love my piercing so much :) and cheaper than the other piercing places around ;)

also great covid guidelines, i felt safe in there. they do walk-ins!

Rylan was great! They made sure I was educated on aftercare and answered any questions I had. The conch piercing was a breeze.

Matthew is clearly passionate about piercing and really engaged through the process, especially for folks like me who hadn’t been pierced before. He takes great care and precision, and my ears look fab!

Randy Candy was great! I went in for a re-piercing of my nose and he was accommodating, kind, and professional. His apprentice was also extremely knowledgeable and they both put me at ease. Easiest piercing experience to date!

Angelo and the gentleman that owns the shop (I didn't catch his name) are both excellent artists. My partner and I received tattoos that turned out exactly how we imagined them at a very fair price, especially considering the high quality of work. Our appointment was quick, the service was friendly and we couldn't be happier with the final results.

Matthew was incredibly professional, fun and kind. I really appreciated the time he took to place my piercing just as I wanted. I didn't feel rushed and the whole process was super easy, from walking in to the final payment.
