Got my tattoo done here a month ago bad experience overall Josh did a really horrible job on my tattoo it’s healed completely now and it just is heavy line on some parts and super fine on others it looks just odd now. Then he basically told my fiancé who is autistic I might add (we didn’t tell him that’s our personal business he’s completely normal tho) he wasn’t empathetic after we rescheduled the appointment for a issue he had before rescheduling he made us wait almost a hour and a half later before he told us to reschedule it. I’ve never had problems here before they are fine otherwise use a different tattoo artist go to Adam not Josh we ended up going to a different place for my fiancé tattoo also there minimum was $80 there not $100 that’s insane (my tattoo below)

If you enjoy lengthy reviews this one is for you. I haven’t had any tattoos or new piercings done since I was in high school. I’ve been pretty picky about where I would go too since covid because most places I’ve checked out haven’t been welcoming or made appointments difficult. Carmel tattoo is now my GO TO spot! The booking process online is simple and the communication is quick after after submitting a request.

The shop is beautiful and CLEAN! It looks like home goods and a tattoo shop combined into one making it feel very relaxing in there. I like their paperless consent forms, save the trees!

A few months ago Ellie did my septum piercing and when I say that was the most painless piercing experience…I’m not kidding!! She triple checked the placement and it’s perfectly straight. She has a very gentle hand at piercing and is so comforting to be around which definitely put my mind at ease during my appointment. Plus she’s hilarious so I enjoyed my time in the shop with her! I know if I’m looking to do any other piercings she’s my first choice at any new editions on my body.

I recently got two tattoos done on Friday by Barry and I’m so happy with how they look!! The appointment was actually easy and his line work is so solid! He even redrew one of my tattoo ideas during the appointment because I didn’t like how my reference photo looked next to my current tattoo. My fault for using a basic Pinterest bird lol but he was super kind and made sure I was happy with every decision throughout the whole process. His vibe is super chill too so I wasn’t anxious at all during my appointment.

I’ve been looking for a new tattoo artist and piercer and I’ve found my holy grail duo! Talent, hospitality and precision 10/10!!

My father had passed away recently and the hospital gave us a strip of his last heartbeat and I thought it would be
a great ideal to it tattooed on my on my forearm and we had Josh there at carmel tattoo.. it was my first tattoo and he walked me through everything and showed me all the designs and we picked the one that my style and he put it on in no time and after I heal I will be going back for another one he will design for me .. he gets 5 stars for my tattoo.. and that says something because I don't normally give 5 stars out..

Carmel Tattoo provides a clean, open, friendly, and positive experience. Whether you are getting a piercing (which my daughter received twice) or a tattoo which I received. They do an amazing job. Costumer service is on point, they were accommodating and knowledgeable. Adam did my tattoo beautifully, taking my thoughts and ideas and creating a piece that I truly enjoy!

Mara is one of the most courtesy, professional person I've ever worked with. Her art work came out incredible, best tattoo I've ever gotten. Perfect lines, killer shading and a very light hand!

Not only was Adam extremely talented, but he also doesn't have that chip on his shoulder so many tattoo artists I've spoken with seem to have. Very nice and courteous. I sent him a picture of the desired tattoo a couple of days before the appointment and he was able to redraw it correcting the proportions and making it unique. The SaniDerm that they put on after the appointment really does work! After removing it 5 days later, the tattoo was almost completely healed. Super happy!

This is my go to shop. Everyone is so friendly. The shop is clean, and I have loved every tattoo and piercing I've gotten.

I recently went to Carmel Tattoo to get my first tattoo. Michael was great! As a first timer, he was extremely thorough explaining what was going on and answering any questions. I am beyond thrilled with the outcome. I would highly recommend Michael and Carmel Tattoo to anyone.

Took my 10 year old daughter to get her ears pierced here after being recommended from one of my mom's groups that it's a lot more sanitary, less painful & more accurate. I highly recommend Noah he definitely did not disappoint he was super sweet & comforting reassured her he does piercings all the time & that she would be fine. He did not rush & made sure he marked her ears evenly before starting. He was so encouraging to her throughout it all & even sent her out with a sucker. My daughter said she enjoyed her experience and that she really liked Noah & she loved that he was so nice. I have a feeling we will definitely be back in the future! 😊
