BDC Tattoo

I got 3 piercings here a few months ago. My Tragus piercing fell out within the first 2 weeks, on a Sunday and they don’t open again until Tuesday so it closed up. Now one of the cartilage piercings I got there just fell out also. The quality of the jewelry is horrible and the piercer did not get my earrings on tight at all. I have two other piercings I got at different places and neither of them have fallen out and it’s been over a year. The piercer was RUDE. Didn’t make me feel comfortable. I don’t even feel comfortable going in or calling to complain because he was so rude. Horrible experience total waste of money!! Do not go here to get piercings.

It really bothers me that the first review i see on the main google page is "I would not going here for piercings". Two friends and I all got our noses pierced by Jeremiah summer of 2014 and nothing but amazing things to say about him and the experience. I did have healing problems but you can't really blame him for how my skin heals. But I even went in to get a different size stud put in to help the process and he was more than helpful and free of charge. I've also received tattoos here and great experience and environment. My nose is healthy and happily pieced :) Thank you!

I am glad that I got my nipples pierced before I read the reviews. I got my nipples pierced about 3 weeks ago by Jeremiah. He was very nice. He explained want he was going to do before he started. Also before he started the piercing process he told me that if I started feeling sick or light headed to let him know. Just before he pushed the needle through through he told me to take a deep breath. I was surprised that it didn't hurt as much as I thought it would. Before he pierced the second one he made sure I was feeling ok. I told him that I had read that you should have the piercer change the jewelry the first time and he said that they would do it Free of charge. I was in there no longer than 15-20 minutes. About two weeks after having my nipples pierced I had to have a longer bar put in one of my nipples. He said that the other one could be put back in in two weeks. I asked him if I would do it like the way he changed it. He said yes or I could come back and they would change it. I am very happy with my piercing. I would recommend them.

I went in today, after having no luck in Topeka. I walked in, was asked how old I am, waited ten minutes tops went back to the room got it done paid and left. I was in the shop for 20-30 minutes tops. Very please and very impressed with my nose piercing! Would definitely recommend Jeremiah, and plan on coming back to get a tattoo done & maybe more piercings!

About two weeks ago I got a tattoo of a 4 point star on the top of my index finger. The artist Steven was the one who did the art, he was unsocial and kind of unwelcoming off the bat. He did a poor job of the tattoo I wanted, having very sloppy lines and inconsistent shading. In these two weeks it has almost completely faded because I was told to "cover it for two hours and put some aquaphor on it." After some brief research on the internet, multiple sites not only tell you to cover new tattoos for 24 hours, but also to treat it like an open wound for at least two weeks. I got a piercing here the week before I got this tattoo and I was pleased with the quality and the hospitality of the receptionist.

Two months later, I go into a different tattoo/piercing shop to get my piercing switched over to a ring, but the piercer there told me my piercing wasn't perpendicular to the side of my nose, so without being fully healed, a ring would pull and irritate the piercing. Seven months after getting my piercing, I bought rings to put in and to my surprise, none of them would comfortably sit in my nose without pulling on my piercing. I would absolutely not reccomend this shop to anyone. The one thing they didn't mess up was taking my money.

If you're getting pierced in Lawrence, GO TO AD ASTRA!!!!

If you're someone in the Lawrence area that is looking for a good tattoo shop I completely recommend this place. The artist Erin was so fantastic. She was welcoming, sweet, and super funny, and the tattoo I got turned out beautiful. I will be back! :)

Went in yesterday(july 14th) for my first tattoo. The staff was great all round. Pete did a beyond amazing job! I can't thank you guys enough for bringing to life not just a tattoo but a tribute/symbol of my love for my daughter. This is the only place I'll ever go to personally and I will recommend BDC to anyone who ask me where to go for a tattoo.

BDC is the place to go for tattoos and piercings in Lawrence! The staff and artists are knowledgeable and friendly. The shop, located on Mass street, is clean and has a good vibe. Erin has done 3 of my tats, and I couldn't be happier with her work!

Got my first tattoo and they were very friendly. It looks great and I would definitely recommend this place. Cant wait to come back!

Update: I have gotten 3 tattoos here and they are the best here and always treat you with respect. I honestly can't imagine getting my tattoos done anywhere else.
