I had my first tattoo done by Erin, and I couldn’t be more pleased. The experience was great all around and the tattoo turned out exactly how I wanted it.

Update: I had my second, more extensive tattoo done by Erin. Same great experience. HIGHLY recommend.

Very professional. Pete was a great artist and my tattoo is healing quite nicely. Will definitely be back for other work in the future.

I got a cartilage piercing a little over a year ago at Fine Line Tattoo in Topeka. The woman who did my piercing was very rude when I was there, but it seemed like everything was fine. I went to change the earring and spent over half an hour trying to just remove the earring. The cartilage had healed in a large bump that wouldn't allow me to remove the earring. Frustrated and in tears I called Big Daddy Cadillac's, the woman who does piercings for them immediately offerred for me to come in and have her take it out. I went in and everything was very sterile. I was crying because it hurt so bad, but she removed it for me and inserted a new earring so that I won't lose the piercing hole while the swelling goes down over the next week. She also told me to come in when I was ready to put in a new earring and she would make sure everything was fine and help me insert it. She did all of this for free and at the drop of a hat. The staff was extremely friendly and willing to help me correct the problem. When I called Fine Line they simply told me it was probably my fault and that they couldn't help me in "Any way, shape, or form". I am now going to go to Big Daddy's for my tattoo and would not consider anywhere else if you're looking for a clean, friendly, professional environment.

Very disappointed in my experience here. My best friend and I had been planning to come to this shop to get a piercing done together for almost 10 months. The first time we went in the piercer wasn't there so we were given a $5 off card for when we came back. We both got super busy and she moved home for the summer, so when we finally had time to we went. Once we walked in the staff was incredibly rude. There were three employees at the entrance all on their phones, and continued to stay more interested in their phones while my friend and I filled out the paperwork. The woman at the front desk was incredibly unfriendly, rude, and acting like she wanted to be anywhere but there. We continued through with the piercing and waited in the sitting area to go in to see Jeremiah. While we waited we were completely ignored as the piercer stood at the front desk still on his phone. He called us in after a little while and got right to it. He did not explain how he would proceed or even make some amount of conversation towards us. Yet this was the guy we had waited to see for 10 months.. The situation was uncomfortable and made even worse when my friend got the medusa piercing. He did not explain his procedure to her either, and the needle got stuck when he tried to pull it out. The end was very bent when he put it in, however it caused her a lot of pain when he was in the process of putting her jewelry in due to it getting stuck. Her whole lip was extremely swollen for the next several hours. We were both very worried. After everything was done no one said anything to us as we paid and walked out. Worst service I've ever received which is extremely disappointing given the time we waited and the fact that we planned to go back very soon to get more piercings within the year before. I will never go to BDC again, and I can say I truly don't think they care about that.

would give zero stars if possible. got pierced at a different shop but live in Lawrence, and when I had complications, I would come here. three times I was refused at the door by the awful receptionist, who told me my piercing didn't look infected (it was bright red and leaking pus for several days) and that I couldn't see the piercer. even when I made an appointment to see him for the infection, when I showed up for the appointment, the receptionist told me he didn't take appointments for things like that. honestly, just go somewhere else if you're looking to get a piercing. sore loser in hays, ks is a wonderful place.

Came in to get a new industrial piercing. They told me the only size they had to was the one they sold me and they assured me it would fit. However once I tried to put it in it was a significantly bigger gauge and wouldn’t fit in my ear. After I complained that it was too large they then showed me they had a smaller size. They asked me to pay for it again despite them making the mistake. Wasted money on a piercing that will not fit my ear.

They're fantastic, went in and saw Steve to get a mother daughter tattoo with my mom before I moved to Iowa, he had a conversation with us and was really helpful and reassuring. Will definitely be going back to him for more tattoos! And about to go back for some piercings. They're fantastic!

We can't speak for the service because it was refused. We attempted to have five piercings done on three people as a birthday present and we were literally told to go somewhere else. Because my daughters are under the age of 16 they are apparently not allowed in the store for any reason, ever. Really? Not even to spend money with their parents?! They get a 2 star review from me because I have to assume anyone turning away $ on the door step is doing extremely well with the customers they do let in.

Went and got my first tattoo with Pete, and everything was amazing! They definitely don't sugar coat that it will hurt, which honesty helped me be ready for some pain, even though the pain was minimal. Everyone was extremely welcoming, I would recommed them to anyone asking for a good tattoo place, and would get another one there myself!

I had my first piercing experience in US from here July 2017. Very professional and very good. I would recommend this place highly. After my piercing I had issues because of the nature of my skin and they were always helpful and cooperative.
