Highly, HIGHLY recommend this place! Stan was wonderful and so friendly. I just went in to get a simple tattoo and he managed to take me as a walk in on a Saturday. He took time with me and didn't write me off just because I was getting something small. With the amount of care he took with my tattoo, I'd trust him to do any size of work on me. If you need a tattoo in Kansas, GO HERE!

Stan has done every tattoo of mine since I moved to Kansas. I recommend Red 5 to all of my friends. His work is spectacular and glad we could get the most recent, a sleeve, completed before I moved out of state. The rest of the crew does amazing work too.

Not your average tattoo shop. A rare gem in Lawrence. Clean as a surgical suite - no tacky wall full of me-too tattoos. I am very impressed with how they are managing Covid safely while continuing to provide excellent customer service. Response to emails is timely and thorough.

Canβt say enough about Seymour at Red 5. Not only was his delicate line work impeccable, but he was SO kind and professional. My mom, sister and I went in for matching small crescent moon tattoos. My mom was still on the fence, but after seeing how nice and professional Seymour was, and how clean Red 5 was, she was totally confident enough to get the tattoo. Iβm going back to him for all my others!

Since the first time he tatted me I haven't let anyone else put ink in my skin. This shop is very clean and fair in price. I joined the team of excellent artists at Red5Tattoo about a week and a half before we were shut down due to the current Coronavirus pandemic. We were shut down for months. We have reopened and instilled new safety-measures via the pandemic, for our safety and that of our clients/the community in general. Given the current state of things, we appreciate our clients patience and understanding towards getting tattoos done safely and professionally, as this shop has always done. That said, it may take abit longer for us to respond to your email. It may be abit more solitary of an experience getting tattooed. Please don't take personal offense and give us a bad review because you're impatient or entitled. We are a shop of highly experienced professionals who will do right by you every time... disclaimer, this post was made by me, Joe C Bullock III, and I have only been a part of the Red5Tattoo family recently, but, i have worked at 10 or so shops during my career as a tattoo artist and have never worked with such an exceptional group of artists or in such an exceptionally well kept shop... being a long-time professional in the body art industry, I count myself lucky to have a place to practice my art in this shop, and I'd gladly get tattooed by any of my fellow artists at Red 5. :)
