This guy Stan Farmer is one of a kind. He turned my garbage tattoos into a one of a kind piece of art. I had three terrible tattoos an I went to Stan for advice. He successfully covered them up with brilliant astonishing works of art. I still get compliments on the vibrant colors an detail he put into my tattoos still after 15 years. New to tattoos, I was very anxious about this one. It was inspired by a tawny emperor butterfly that landed on my hand in the evening when I was home from the hospital where my mom was getting a bone marrow transplant. I didn't know if I would hate it on my wrist. I worried that it would look like a generic butterfly and not *my* butterfly. I worried that the beautiful browns and oranges would not come through. Boy, was I wrong.
Stanley created a fantastic work of art on my arm. It is a detailed and accurate representation of my butterfly. The shading makes it look realistic. I love it and can't stop staring! It's just perfect. A wonderful memorial for my mom.
