Black Mammoth Tattoo & Piercing is by far my favorite place to get tattoos and piercings. Robert did a large piece on my leg for me and the art itself is amazing, but my time in the shot was great as well. It's neat and clean and the whole team makes you feel welcomed. One of the few places I will always recommend to anyone looking to get a tattoo in MHK! Great team and awesome talent!

I love this place! It is super clean and feels so homey when you walk in. I have been multiple times to see JJ for piercings. He is a super laid back and fun guy! I tell everyone to go see him for all of their piercing needs because he is so quick and smooth during the piercing. You hardly feel a thing!!

Black Mammoth is by far the best in town! Huge difference in how the customer is treated from first visit to finished work. Big change from the other shops we have visited in town. Very nice people who care about what you want. Adrian had done several pieces for my husband and after seeing his great work I decided it’s time for some more ink and a touch up on previous work. My new ink is exceptional and the experience was fantastic. I will return for more! Go see them, you will not be disappointed.

I’ve been going here for about a year now and just finished my arm sleeve with Brandi Bruce. Not only is everyone professional, they’re personal and they show interest. It goes beyond the art. They care about what you have to say, they learn you by name and what you’re into, and they all have amazing ideas. I wouldn’t recommend anywhere else within 1000 miles. Great shop, great environment, awesome music.

I love it here at Black Mammoth this is the only place I trust to get my tattoos in Manhattan. Every thing is so clean, they are very nice and you can tell how much they care about even the smallest of tattoos. Robert is definitely my favorite but they are all so nice and talented.

Brandi worked with me on my first sleeve ever. I ended up working with Brandi when she moved to black mammoth and I have never regretted it. I walked in with the idea for a voodoo witch doctor tattoo because of an inspiring visit to New Orleans and she also has a passion for the magical old city so she had this excitement about it that made the experience very memorable. I’ve gone back to her for every tattoo since and sent so many friends. I will forever recommend Black Mammoth and Brandi Bruce.

I got my nose piercing done by JJ on Wednesday. I was super nervous (I’m not sure if he could tell) but he was very informative, kind, and funny about everything that was going on. He gave lots of good information afterwards. Not only that, but the piercing was perfect. Yeah, it hurt, but it was quick and the piercing was put in the perfect place. Definitely will go back here again if I get another piercing!!

I wouldn’t go any where else for a piercing. JJ is the best! He is so knowledgeable and funny.

JJ was amazing and super friendly! My sister, cousin and I all got our daith piercing together. One was nervous, one bled a lot and one super easy, he handled all without skipping a beat. We are all returning to get the other side done soon!!!

Super chill place the atmosphere is very Brandi Bruce did some amazing black and white work for me that (with proper care) has not faded one bit! Also, was willing to hold engaging conversation but didn't push talking unless you showed you would like to converse. 10/10 trust her and hope she keeps tattooing. Will definately come back.
