April and Kevin are the only two artists I’ve ever been tattooed by, and they’re both absolutely wonderful! April is always so patient and encouraging for the bigger pieces, and Keith was just so great to talk to. I have multiple friends that have tattoos from here, and they all had great experiences. Plus their Friday the 13th flash days are managed super well, and the wait was totally worth it.

April Jay did my first 3 tattoos and one of them was a cover up and April was really creative with my cover up when I told her I wanted something from the movie spirited away and I trusted her with the process and the coverup was amazing!! not only that but she’s great with communicating and making sure her clients are comfortable and she’s amazing with her own style . She definitely loves the details she puts in every tattoo , as a bartender -locals point out my tattoos and knows it’s an “April jay tattoo !!” Absolutely the best experience- at the shop everyone there was unbelievably amazing with their clients and definitely their merchandise is really cool too! Everyone at the shop is so close knit it makes you so at ease right away with good vibes!

I can't say enough good things about Angel and Lucky Dagger. I had a tattoo that needed an upgrade. Angel was responsive, collaborative, professional and friendly through multiple consultations. Such a great experience here! My boyfriend and I were visiting the city and last minute we decided that we wanted to get some Voodoo tattoos while we were there. We found Lucky Dagger and got in very quickly with Dani. She talked with us both about what we wanted and was a joy to get tattooed by. Had a great experience. Picked one of Jacqui’s flash tattoos as a New Orleans souvenir. She was extremely professional and did a great job. Almost a year later and my tattoo still looks brand new. Would for sure get another by her again.
