Had such a good experience at Lucky Dagger! My friend and I came in to get matching tattoos, and they turned out amazing!!! It was both of our first times getting a tattoo, and Clare made us feel comfortable. Her art was exactly what we wanted. We also love the chill vibe of the place and that they have cool female artists. We will come again and recommend!

I could not recommend a tattoo shop more than I do this one! I saw April about a month ago, and I had the most amazing experience! The shop was easy to find, it was clean, and everyone there was so friendly and kind. April was absolutely amazing, and so wonderful to work with! She took my idea and did went way beyond my expectations with the lovely piece she did for me and I absolutely love it! I will definitely be returning for my next piece!

Lucky Dagger is the best parlor in all of New Orleans. I have been tattooed by April multiple times and I always come away astounded by her work. Her style is so unique and I am honored to wear her art. She is always such a good hang when she is working as well. Funny, kind, and a wonderful conversationalist.
I have yet to be tattooed by Jacqui but I absolutely love her style. Her unique take on traditional style is beautiful.
The shop itself is such an eclectic style with a focus on female empowerment. I love all the art on their walls. It is also located in a very fun part of NOLA, surrounded by great restaurants and bars.
I recently moved away from the area but I am going to make it a point to visit NOLA every year just to visit Lucky Dagger Tattoo.

2 of my favorite tattoos I got from here (April specifically). Her style and mastery of her style is certainly unique and very well done. Still to this day I just stare at my most recent one from her and get all giddy because how amazing it look. Besides the artist though the establishment itself is very clean, aesthetically pleasing, although it is a bit small it’s still a wonderful place. 10/10 would get tatted again

I got tattooed by Dani while on vacation last week. The shop was super clean, everyone was so cute and kind (seriously. You won’t regret hanging with any of them) and Dani was so fun to be tattooed by. The shop manager was so helpful when I was struggling to find parking. Everyone came by Dani’s station when they had free time to tell her how awesome she was doing. I definitely plan on being back!

I've been following Coyle since 3 shops prior to Lucky Dagger and since he's been there over the last year, this shop is the only one where you feel like part of the family. Everyone is friendly and will help you brainstorm any idea you have. They will work with your schedule and will give you the tattoo you always wanted. Huge fan!

Dani is absolutely incredible. She has done almost all my tattoos and I love every single one. I trust her to take design ideas and make them her own. She always presents me with options and one time I just got all of them done because I couldn’t choose! She also asked my pronouns and makes great conversation. Lucky dagger is such a safe and welcoming place and I am constantly thinking about when I can go back.
