Gitchee Gumee Tattoo

Jason Voss is an excellent artist. We came up with a design within 15 minutes, he made some suggestions to make sure that it would be a tattoo that lasts a lifetime, and I love the tattoo! I highly recommend this tattoo parlor.

Absolutely loved this place! Was visiting Duluth for a weekend, stopped by the place for a question, ended up getting a tattoo later in the day! Every was super friendly and it felt like they were all already my friends the moment I walked in! When it came to the tattoo, idk who was more excited, me, or my artist! It was done quick, but great quality! If you need a tattoo in Duluth, I definitely suggest this place! Also, ask them about the "no second chances" toaster ;)

I would not recommend this place for a tattoo. I went in with a very simple tattoo idea and left with a piece that looked nothing like what I asked for. The artist knew he made a mistake and then proceeded to shade in the tattoo even though I did not want that. Next step will be removing this. Extremely disappointed and upset with how unheard I felt.

Walked in and got a tattoo the same day. The staff and the environment was professional, laid back, and clean. Jeremy was awesome, I would go back again.

Everything about my visit here was perfect! All the staff were so nice, friendly, and accommodating. Josh did a great job on my tattoo, I absolutely love it. I’ve gotten a smaller one before from Jeremy too, both nice and really great guys! I’ve also gotten plenty of ear piercings here as well. It’s obvious how much I love and trust this place, their business, and their amazing staff. 10/10 recommend to anyone!! Nowhere else I will go:) thanks Gitchee Gumee!

I went to see Jeremy at Gitchee Gumee. This is the second tattoo that he has done on me and i am absolutely in love with his incredible work of art, and feel completely honored to have it on my body!

Now more about my experience with Jeremy. He's a good dude inside and out, and very passionate about his work. He's very honest about what will look good and takes pride in the fact that his work will still look great 10+ years from now. This is a rare quality that many artists lack. He was very gentle and would check up on me from time to time during my tattoo process to make sure i was feeling good. He will not stop your tattoo until it is 100% perfect in his professional eyes. He will stand back and look at it from all different angles/distances and also had me look in a mirror several times to make sure that i am pleased with the process as well. Jeremy legit takes pride in his work and you can tell that it is his ultimate passion. His talent surpasses so many others due to the fact that he has more than one strong suit/style of tattooing. He can do it all, enjoys a challenge and every tattoo ends up looking superb.

The Gitchee Gumee Tattoo shop was an enjoyable experience. Everyone that works there is laid back, nice and easy to talk to. The moment you walk into this bright, clean tattoo shop, you feel comfortable. The other artists and staff were there to help, gave valuable input, and also would check up on my wellbeing during this tattoo process.

This place is amazing! Jeremy did a tattoo on my leg and it came out fantastic! Fast, clean, and quality work. He was really professional and talked me through everything I may have been nervous about. Super nice guy, and great at what he does. He gave me exactly what I was looking for and gave me a really good deal as far as price goes. The atmosphere is very positive and everyone else that I talked to who worked there are very helpful and genuinely good people. I’ll definitely be coming back for my next tattoo!

Jason Voss has done my entire arm piece thus far, aside from one guest artist he had in house. They are all GREAT quality, professional work, not to mention, a great price point.
The body jewelry they have in stock to buy, and use for piercings is made out of excellent high grade materials, made to last. I could not recommend this place to enough people. Great staff, atmosphere, tattoos, and piercings!

Gitchee Gumee Tattoo is a must-stop for the Duluth tourist, or local. I’ve had countless tattoos done here, by every artist, and they always come out amazing. I really can not say enough amazing things about this establishment, the front desk ladies are always so warm and chipper. The artists are always so welcoming to ideas, they really know how to work with you. Not to mention the piercing counter is staffed with amazing, experienced piercers. The selection of specialty jewelry here is out of this world. I highly recommend the Saturday Same day appointments (they are similar to a walk-in). Overall if I could rate this place a 1000000/10 I would. Unfortunately, google only gives me 5 stars to rate off of. Do not be hesitant to stop in here for ANY service, they will not disappoint.
