My husband and I went to Gitchee Gumee Tattoo for our first tattoos. Jason was amazing. He helped us design what we wanted and helped with placement to make sure it would look the best and that we'd be satisfied with it long term. Now that it's been about a month since we went in, both tattoos look great and healed effortlessly. The entire staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We already plan on returning for another in the future!

My Piercers name was Brittany, she was super helpful giving her opinion on Which piercing I should get, as I was undecided. She pierced my septum and I was worried it was going to be very painful, she reassured me that it will only hurt for a minute and that if I take care of it and clean it properly the healing should be close to painless. I am now 3-4 weeks into the healing process and it doesn’t hurt at ALL. I have gotten my septum pierced before and ended up taking it out due to uncomfortable healing process and soreness. When Brittany redid the piercing years after, it healed very nicely. I couldn’t be happier with it.

I walked into today for a tattoo, and was super amazed and impressed with how nice clean and polite. Everyone was being. Was also super pleased they got me in same day. Jeremy did my tattoo, very funny, joking a lot, talk through the moment of pain. I would totally recommend this place. I like to thank Jeremy for a wonderful experience and will be back.

I am so thankful I went to Gitchee Gumee. They are genuine and caring people that actually take into consideration what you are getting tattooed, where, how well the color will hold, and the likelihood of you enjoying the tattoo in the future. I have been wanting my tattoo for a couple months but I didn't know much about getting one. Jeremy did my tattoo and told me which placement would be best, and making sure I knew the aftermath of getting a tattoo. I love my tattoo so much! I feel confident with it and comforted every time I look at it. It's exactly what I wanted and more. I'd recommend this place to anyone!

I came in as a walk in to get a second lobe and cartilage piercing. Everyone was so nice and welcoming! The piercing was done very quick and efficiently. I was put at ease just chatting with the person who was doing it (I can't remember her name, but I was the person who was talking about how I had too much caffiene and was really hyped! Hi!). Really a great experience, I hope to come back for a tattoo sometime. Great atmosphere and service!

Amazing is an understatement when it comes to Gitchee Gumee... everyone there is so friendly and welcoming! Plus, I just got my second tattoo from there by Jason. Knows exactly what he’s talking about, how to do any design and how to make your dream tattoo come to life. Can’t thank him enough for my Thor tattoo. One of the nicest and most straight up person I’ve ever met. Definitely going back to finish my sleeve in the future.

Each and every member of the staff is professional and helpful. They are like a small family leaving you feel confident, comfortable and light hearted. I found my new favorite place to go. Excellent with piercings AND tattoos. I've been lucky enough to work with Sarah, Shaniya and Brian. Brian's work is amazing. He was able to add so much depth to the idea of my tattoo that I had in my head. I am super pleased and will definitely be coming back. I highly recommend!
