Grimm Tattoo

My friend and I had planned on getting tattoos at another parlor, but when we arrived for our appointments, we were stood up. No calls or texts were every answered. You can imagine my happiness when I called Grimm Tattoos and explained our situation and was told to come on down! Of course as walk in's we had to wait in line which did take a couple hours, but we were so lucky and appreciative to even get in! The owner Wes was a wonderful host and made the time pass with ease. There is so much to enjoy in the shop that the wait didnt even matter. Our artists were flexible, creative, and fast! My friend and I left with exactly what we wanted for amazing prices and an experience we will never forget. THANK YOU GRIMM TATTOO 🖤

I had a great experience getting my piercing done by Damon. He made me feel at ease while getting my piercing and made it fun too! He was very informative and I felt great when I left. I would definitely recommend him to a friend!

very dissatisfied. we have come several times around 8 or 9 and asked if we could do a walk in and they tell us they can’t, even though there is only one person in line. we have even called ahead of time and asked availability and they said they’d call us back but never did. if they don’t tattoo past 10:30 then they shouldn’t advertise they are open until 12. the workers at the front desk are very kind but i think the management is flawed. i totally get first come first serve but even when no one else is in line we are denied service. lots of lost business for people with a busy schedule who are happy about the one place “open till midnight”.

I'm a big fanatic of all types of tattoos, especially traditional tattoos. Yesterday I went in for my fifth time into Grimm's. Great place and great people. I love my new tattoo, Trevor did an amazing great job and I love the details and nice clean line work he did on me new tattoo. I'm for sure going back to get some more work done here soon. They took me as a walk-in and was very fast. The only complaint is I know I was overcharged for the 2 tattoos I received. The work was done wonderfully I gave no complaints about that. Just make sure you discuss pricing before the work is done.

I don’t know how my kids convinced me, but we got a simple family tattoo with the kids initials and air hearts ... it was my first and I was extremely nervous! Danni did a great job and kept me at ease!! Everyone was friendly and professional. Ty for the awesome experience.

I wanted a tattoo on my foot that represented the love and loss of my mother. I took a Drawing in as a walk in. The employees that greeted me at the door were knowledgeable and welcoming. Rachel was the artist that I worked with. She is a talented young woman and helped create a perfect tattoo. I get compliments on how beautiful my new ink is! Thank you Rachel and Grimm Tattoo of KC.

The girl with the green hair and glasses is VERY rude and unprofessional. We waited to get tattoos that only took 20 minutes for 8 HOURS and were on a list to be called. they weren’t calling anybody, the girl with the green hair insisted she would call and we could leave, but when we would come back to check every hour they kept taking people before us, even when we were standing right there and had been on the list for HOURS ahead of these people. instead of putting us quickly ahead of someone, they made us wait until the end of everybody to go, again even though we had been on the list. & when we got upset and asked to speak to the girl with the green hair & glasses she said “she didn’t feel like dealing with us” even though we just wanted an apology.
Our tattoo artist was cool though and shocked we waited for 8 hours. She did a good job with our tattoos!
The people at the front desk- learn how to communicate better and not lie to your paying customers.

The toxic male artist who approached me has absolutely no vision. I’ve gotten 7 tattoos since I was 23. While artists have helped me revise my vision to fit the canvas, I’ve never been treated so ignorantly. Furthermore, an artist would know how to blend 3 animal heads together into one tattoo. I’ve seen other people with multi-animal representation in one tattoo. Parts of the heads would be covered by the other heads. It’s art. Thanks for a long wait followed by a horrible experience.

Side note: The owner was very friendly. The male tattoo artist (Dave, I believe) was extremely ignorant ... even when I relented and chose something more doable.
