Steel and Ink Tattoo Studio

Haven’t been to a tattoo shop in forever and these guys know how to do it right! So many places are short staffed or simply just don’t have but 1 or 2 artists on staff. So appointments are the only way most shops operate. That’s fine and dandy if you know what you’re doing 2 months from now.

Get there when they open and you have a better chance of getting in right away for their walk in artists. If it’s less than a 3-hr job you have a great chance of getting your new tattoo that day.

Front desk staff are professional and know their $hit. Everything seems and feels clean, reliable and high quality. Rachel gave me a badass new tattoo and I think I’m going to going back way sooner than I had planned for more work.

My experience was absolutely amazing! I've had other tattoos done by different artists at other tattoo shops, and none compare to Steel and Ink. The staff are friendly and engaging, not to mention my tattoo is absolutely incredible! Sophia was the artist, and she did a phenomenal job.

Had Sofie who did my tattoo a few weeks ago. absolutely love it and she was great. Very hygienic. Would have given 5 stars but she couldn’t seem to stay away from her phone. Even mid tattoo she would get on her phone. Other than that, everything was great! (She switched gloves)

Mackenzie did an amazing job. Several months ago she pierced my daughter’s second lobes. The first holes were ever so slightly uneven, she was able to conceal this. She also re-pierced my lobes (they had healed completely) and pierced an outer conch. Absolutely love it. Healing was quick and simple. Shop is clean. They go above and beyond. Would recommend and will be back.

My daughter and I both had piercings done here. I had my nose done and she had a industrial ear piercing done. We did these at separate times and both times the people walked us through the process, everything was super clean, they are VERY knowledgeable and they have everything ready for your after care. If you have any issues during after care they are there to answer any and all questions or to take a look at things. My daughter changed her piercing a bit to early causing a small issue and they were able to look at it and tell us what we needed to do right away. I highly reccomend them for any and all piercings needs.

Sofie and Tyler were amazing! They helped my mom, my sister, and me develop the right tattoo from our idea and they did amazing work! Their line art was perfect and it turned out exactly how we wanted it. I am so glad we decided to go with Steel and sink as they were helpful and time efficient.

Got two piercings here!
The first one was with Fino, and he was amazing. I was nervous and he handled it very well and I had a great experience with him!
The second one was my helix - she pierced it five times without warning, which hurt a lot. As well as that, she did not tell me the price before hand and it ended up being around $150 with tip. Helix is $40 (as listed on the website) but she charged me $60 for the actual piercing? She pierced it 5 times without warning, I thought I would get a discount for that? As well as that, we were not told the price of the jewelry, which ended up being an extra 40-50 dollars.

Basically, Fino is awesome, and ask to see the price of the piercing before it is done.
Also the doubles did end up closing up after a few months, even though I was cleaning it twice a day. They got blood blisters and I cried while taking them out. I honestly don’t blame the piercing shop for this though, my ears are just extremely sensitive.

Side note: I did ask questions, she said that the needle malfunctioned. That’s okay that the needle wasn’t working, but please just tell me when to breathe instead of just piercing my ear 5 times while saying nothing. I also would’ve liked to be informed as to what was happening each time, as I was very very confused in the moment.
I wish I had asked about the price, as I am still very confused.

I walked in with no appointment and was put with Lorenzo. He did an awesome job on my Tat and we had the greatest conversation during that time. I mean we talking about our upbringing, families, my occupation, and it just took my mind away from what he was doing. The rest of the staff were very inviting and kept the environment fun with a lot of laughter. If you’re looking to get some ink done, look no further!

I got my daughter’s ears pierced for the first time by Mackenzie. She was great and super patient with her 😀
I also got my septum done by Rayne who was equally wonderful! I love the shop and will continue to use them & recommend them in the future.
