Sarah did my piercings, she was gentle and went over the anatomy of my ear before we did anything permanent. I personally never experienced this but it made my visit that much more amazing.

The staff was great! I’ll definitely be seeing them again for future wants and needs.

i’ve gone twice and got my piercings done by vern. he’s very good at thoroughly explaining everything like the jewelry and the cleaning/healing process. there’s a large selection of jewelry to choose from and i really appreciate the safety precautions they take. also love all the taxidermy displayed.

I always think I’m not cool enough to walk into these places, so it’s really nice when the folks working inside make you feel welcomed. I got a septum piercing today! Vern was my piercer, and he was super chill and relaxed, which in turn made me feel calm and chill too. I appreciated the professionalism, the attention to details, safety, and cleanliness— but I also appreciate it when a body modification shop doesn’t take themselves too seriously, and make it all about themselves, their fame, or whatever.

The staff at Ascension focus on you, your satisfaction and experience, joy, and the goals you’re trying to achieve, not just on your first visit, but for the long term journey of your piercing. Good vibes are very important to me, when I’m getting any kind of procedure involving needles. 🖤✨🖤✨🖤

I was trying to go for the fanciest, prettiest, more elaborate and expensive jewelry for my initial septum piercing. But Vern talked me down into reality, and helped me pick a piece that would work best, not just for the size of my face and anatomy, but for hygiene and the after-care phase of the piercing. Another, less scrupulous shop would have let me go with a more expensive ring, just to make a quick profit. So I really respect the time Vern took to advise me, and educate me too. I still had to go with Gold though ✨✨✨... and I’ll definitely be upgrading to a fancier peace later, but only after this hole heals!

i got 4 piercings and online it said they were 30$ each. i got the cheapest jewelry possible ($15) and my total was over $300 with a tip. That is outrageous because with tax it should have only been $200. That’s an extra $100 in fees. i will not be going back because i could’ve gotten 6 piercings for that price somewhere else. THEY DO NOT TELL YOU HOW MUCH IT IS GOING TO BE UNTIL YOU ALREADY HAVE THE PIERCINGS IN! it seems like they’re trying to hide the prices. it’s disappointing because i like piercers, but i got scammed.

Sarah is absolutely amazing! She made me feel so comfortable and confident that I was in safe hands. She showed me how she was going to do my piercing and explained to me how it would look. She also gave me all the information on how to take care of my new piercing. She's super easy going and I can't recommend her enough!

I don’t understand the negative reviews I’ve seen about ascension, as they are all very easily solved by telling the piercer/whoever is helping you what you want. (All issues with higher quality jewelry costing more money and being “forced into a decision” even though you were told the price so you can make a choice before you get it put into your body etc).

I have had a very good experience with this business. I have gotten 8 piercings with them so far and the only one I ever had an issue with was my own fault (they didn’t say “this is your fault,” they acknowledged that I moved but took responsibility even though it wasn’t their mistake). I had moved my tongue when I got it pierced and it was a bit crooked and they offered to redo it for free even though I was the one who messed up the process! I will be paying them for their service at that time because it was not their mistake to compensate for.

Every piercing I have gotten has been healing very nicely, is perfectly placed and they make sure it is, very professionally and cleanly done and with a good experience in the shop with the friendly and attentive staff. They give you a lot of advice about the piercings you get and even warn you about possible issues before you get them so you can reconsider that placement - they always have your best interest in mind!

Don’t come here. Giant money scam lol. I’m 16 and was looking for a naval piercing. Over the phone, I wasn’t told I’d need a birth certificate. (It’s my first body piercing so I didn’t know). So, I booked my appointment online with my card, not thinking anything of it. I show up to my appointment with my mom and we’re greeted by this extremely passively aggressive woman with green hair. I believe her name to be Sara? She was not pleasant. We were told that we needed a birth certificate and so we left. A few hours later I check my phone and they charged me for a cancellation fee! The cancellation fee is HALF of what the piercing cost itself!! I would understand if I was a no show, but I came to my appointment on time and wasn’t provided with the right information beforehand. On top of that, my father called the same green haired lady (Sara?) and she was DISGUSTINGLY RUDE!!! She began to lie over the phone saying that she DID tell me I needed a birth certificate and proceeded to say she “had already spoke to my dad” when he never had called up there/been there before. Extremely unprofessional place that likes to steal money from 16 year olds LOL! Hide your money and run!! YOU SHOULD FIRE THIS GREEN HAIRED SARA LADY SOUNDS LIKE ALL SHE DOES IS CAUSE TROUBLE! Although, I did speak with a women then next day when I went back up there trying to get my money back and she was very kind and somewhat helpful, huge thanks to her! She had pretty purple hair no clue what her name was.

I am currently getting a tattoo finished by Niko, he is finishing a tattoo that I started over 2 years ago, I didn't care much for the original but he was the perfect choice to fix and finish this tattoo. I will post the before and after when it's finished, but Everytime I go in, I love what he adds. I am glad I found this shop, looking to get more tattoos and piercings here in the future.

Verne was quick and pleasant, gave me very clear care instructions, had a great attitude.

I went here because they seemed serious about their work, and they use quality products.

Vern is great, I had to be alone because of COVID but he was really understanding, and I love my daith piercing!
