This body modification place is great. The artists do amazing tattoos and are just alot of fun and friendly and take their work very serious. I would definitely recommend checking them out. It's a cool place for tattoos and piercings.

I went to this shop with a few friends who all wanted to get pierced. Originally I would have gone to Evolution Body Piercing and would have had them do it. However, they closed early that night. So, In a rush we settled for this shop, Ascension Body Modification. Something we all regretted! That night I was on the table for more than an hour. I decided to get an industrial piercing with a two point hook piercing connecting it all. However, the artist, if he can be called that at all, couldn't manage. It was the most painful piercing experience of my life. And I have over 20 piercings threw out my body. After an hour on the table and bleeding and swelling tremendously he got all the bars connected. However before then, my friend manage to faint and hit her head on the wall. The staff did nothing to help her or comfort her and left her on the ground while I was on the table bleeding all over and unable to move. He messed up so bad on my piercing I went to evolution along with my friend who got a hook piercing ( which also took 30 minutes to complete) to get a second opinion. Mine had to be removed ASAP due to the wrong placement and angle of the piercing and due the the wrong size of the jewelry. Not to mention my entire ear was bruised black and blue all over. So all the pain and blood I went threw was pointless. Not to mention the money I spent. My third friend even refused to get pierced after me. None of us will ever go back. They are awful and should not be aloud to pierce the human body!

Best experience of a tattoo I have ever gotten. Ask for John Pierce, he is very professional, nice, understanding, and will make anything you want just the way YOU want it! I would defiantly go there again!!

missed my appointment due to email miscommunication with the artist, Eddie, and don't blame him at all. the owner of the shop however, who was so professional he didn't even tell me his name, was extremely unhelpful and condescending. I called the day after I made the appointment, less than twelve hours actually, and was told the owner would call me back to discuss a refund. this was one of two times that I was told he'd be in touch and then ignored.
in short, no matter how good the artists are the management is, at best, forgetful and unprofessional, and at worst someone who cares more about a couple hundred bucks than integrity or art
Edit: these guys add excuses to their google reviews way faster than they sort out things like "money" and "appointments".
