I got a piece from Leo at Stay Gold about 3 years ago. It's still super, stellar and I always get compliments about it. Leo was great getting me in and had a great attitude that helped the whole process go smoothly. He was willing to adapt parts of the tattoo he'd originally drawn to better fit my liking without any judgement or arguing, something I've lost a deposit on in the past with a different shop. He listened very well to my desires and needs and met them quickly and professionally. I just got a certificate for my husband to get a piece and he's already got the drawing done ahead of schedule and it looks spectacular! I can't wait to see it on skin and I can't wait to sign myself up for another from him. Stay Gold will always be a top choice for me! Hands down the best place in town. The artists are all incredibly talented along with the shop being very clean. The artists who work there are all kind and genuinely care about your tattoo and your experience. Pablo has done both of my pieces and both times were beyond my expectations. Definitely coming here for any future tattoos! Truly an incredible place!

I've been tattooed in several tattoo shops around Albuquerque, and I'd say that the staff here are all really friendly and passionate about what they do. Feels kinda silly to call them a staff, because they're tattoo artists, and all great artists are a little wild. But my experience here was great, and I felt very safe and secure getting tattooed in these weird Covid 19 times. For those that have never been tattooed, your tattoo shop of choice should always be clean, sanitary, and cognizant of medical guidelines, so getting tattooed in a pandemic shouldn't be much different than in "normal" times, except for masks, temperature checks, hand washing etc. But I highly recommend getting tattooed here. All the artists are good. Shout out to my tattooer, Kenny Stewart. I recommend going to him for any traditional style tattoos, especially if they're fantasy themed.

I had a wonderful experience at Stay Gold. Got a tattoo from Kenny as a walk in. I had to many variations of what I wanted in my head and wanted it small. It did not turn out as small or as I had originally thought and I am so happy for that. Kenny did an outstanding job with such subtle detail and artistic interpretation of what I didn't even know I wanted. Super nice and accomodating for walking in. I'll definitely be returning for future tattoos!

Stay gold has been around a long time and one visit there will show you why. Every artist is so knowledgeable and continues to push their craft. They feature a variety of styles so you are sure to find a good match for your design. I have been tattooed here by various artist and always feel welcome, comfortable, and listened to as well as learning something interesting everytime I visit. They have the best flash readily avaliable as well. GO GET TATTOOED HERE!!!!!!!!!!

My husband and I wanted to get similar tattoos. Of course we waited until we were ready to do it and had trouble finding a good place that wasn’t booked out for weeks. I saw the reviews for Stay Gold and we called them. Matt got us in the same day and was amazing. The work was exactly what we wanted and Matt was fun to talk to. He truly cared about our experience and the prices were great for the quality. We will be going back for more tattoos soon.
