BEST EXPERIENCE! Gorgeous work and very very professional and thorough staff! Lots of communication leading up to my appt. The owner himself who specializes in realism worked on me and covered scars with gorgeous work! I will book more tattoos with only maven! Best tattoo shop on long Island!!!

i’ve had 4 tattoos done at tattoo maven and all were done well. the place is clean and they treated me well mostly but gavin one of the artists likes to take the art of another person copy it to make into a tattoo and give no credit to the original artist. we both had an agreement that he would credit the original artist when we made the appointment and when it was done he said that he redrew it when he made no changes to it and claimed the art was ripped and not original when thats not the case. when a tattoo artist can’t complete a simple agreement and gets defensive about it, that’s a red flag of what type of person they are and who knows how many tattoos he’s done that aren’t his own and he just doesn’t want to give credit.

I went in for a septum piercing. Gregg was awesome, and helped distract me because I was a little nervous. He was very informative, and put my mind at ease from the very start. The whole thing took less than 2 minutes. The place is super clean, and everybody is very welcoming. My husband got an industrial, and he’s got no complaints either.
I would 100% recommend this shop for any piercings, and plan to go back sometime soon for another!

Got my first and second tattoo here over a year ago and never wrote a review. The facility is clean, the staff is really nice. This place was recommended to me. They did make me feel a lot better about having a first tattoo. The drawing of my tattoo was exactly what I wanted. However, I had a small wrist tattoo that cost me way too much and the lines of the tattoo winded up being so uneven I was afraid to go back, But I tried again giving the benefit of the doubt. Once I did go back I got a quote done that consisted of 2 lines and again over charged and I asked the artist to make it smaller and they did not. Overall not very satisfied most likely will not return to this place as I have found a better artist referred by serveral friends.
