If I could give 0 Stars I would. I had the worst experience with this place. They’re over priced even for piercings . I went in for a tattoo consultation since they didn’t inform of any of their prices such as booking fees or to see if the cover up idea could be done. When replying back to my email. I emailed them to also find out if they had someone that does cover ups but had not got much information until I showed up at the shop.

I felt like I had to constantly keep repeating myself to find out exactly how much my tattoo idea was going to cost me since I was there for a consultation. After both of the artist who were in the store saw my idea they acted like they did not want to service me as one of the tattoo Artist said to his coworker “it’s up to you if you want to do that”. I felt like they judged me as if I didn’t have any money to afford their services. If that was the case I would not have wasted gas to came there to begin with or submitted an email. The artist I was going to work with didn’t really say much he just showed me the books and after I complimented him on his work, I politely asked for his card so I can see his artwork on Instagram after he made a comment about having his work on there and he completely ignored my question. To be honest I only came to this shop because I didn’t get a response in a timely manner from this other place, & this place was quick to reply to my email which I thought was professional. I seen their main page work on Instagram so I already had in my mind that I wanted to get it done from their shop and doing research on their ratings, which is probably mostly from family and friends of the tattoo artist mixed with fake reviews.

They didn’t notify me about the ($7.50 ) processing fee before I paid. So I ended up paying an additional amount of money for the booking fee without knowing until I looked at the non refundable booking fee receipt when they could have informed me prior to paying & I could have came back & paid in cash without being charged extra or who knows I probably still would have been charged a processing fee. After the artist taking the payment told me he prefers cash that just made me wonder why if they accepted my debit card until I looked at the receipt which I felt they were being “money hungry” by being secretive about that information.After that I asked for the artist I was working with information from the artist taking the payment so I was able to look at more of his work when I got home. I was thinking about getting my piercings done over but they overcharge for piercings too. I spoke to friends & family who has had the cover up experience and informed me that they were trying to rip me off for the tattoo cover up he was going to do and I also had that impression after looking at my receipt and after meeting the tattoo Artist: Shavon in person. I could tell that the guy wasn’t going to do a proper job since he did not give me much information on the tattoo cover up process , he only glanced at the tattoo cover up idea once , & he seemed disinterested in doing it and did not really inform me on what he was going to do on the second appointment. If I’m uncomfortable getting services done with someone I won’t get services done from them it saves me the headache of complaining and being uncomfortable & unsatisfied.

After I received an email from another shop closer near me, they informed me of their booking price which was very affordable unlike Tattoo Maven and the other Tattoo Shop gave detailed information about the artist and what the booking fee is for and how they start working on the tattoo after they collect the deposit and was very professional explaining the necessary information I needed to know when responding to my email and questions I had. I ended up changing my mind on getting my Tattoo Cover up from Tattoo Maven and will never ever waste my money or time going for their services. Very Unprofessional & overpriced for services.

This place is awesome! The staff is super cool and beyond talented. Started my sleeve there with Edwin and can’t wait to finish! He’s the best. 11/10 recommend!

Edwin is the only artist I will let touch me from the first time I met him , his wife , the staff are all amazing. Clean is an understatement this shop is top of the notch and should set the standard for body modification shops! Thanks maven crew

Great work. I’ve only have worked with Brendan but I can’t see getting tattoos anywhere else. Everyone’s super talented. Warm energy also.

Honestly the only place I will ever go to for any work in the future. I have recommended Edwin to any friends and family that have shown interest in getting a tattoo done. The shop is staffed by true professionals and artist. 10/10

Greg pierced my nose and it healed beautifully

My sister has been going to Edwin for forever and I recently started going as well. As soon as you walk in you are kindly greated and the shop waiting area is very laid back. They are very professional and the shop is immaculate. I highly suggest them to anyone looking for some new ink!

WARNING USE A DIFFERENT SHOP ! They don’t even deserve one star, I don’t know how they got 4,7 stars. Be careful with this place they misspelled my tattoo I was frustrated And wanted to get it fix but the owner of the shop and the artist IF THATS HOW HE CALLS HIMSELF were extremely rude and uneducated they treated me really bad and they harassed me out to my vehicle and they even tried to fight me. BE AWARE !
