I've worked with Blake twice and I've never been disappointed. His work is phenomenal. He's very courteous and professional, he's gentle, and most of all his artistry and style are absolutely incredible.
The shop itself is in a bit of a strange spot as far as parking goes so be ready to walk a block or two depending on when you decide to visit. The shop is very clean and boasts a cool and casual atmosphere that doesn't feel intimidating at all. Someone will address and help you soon after your arrival to handle paperwork or get you speaking to an artist as soon as possible; I think her name is Jasmine, is the woman who has helped me in the past- she's great.
Everyone here is very friendly and professional, I've never heard an unkind or untoward word in my time here. Currently, the shop is still practicing COVID procedures, so be sure to bring and wear a mask when you drop by!

I’ve been tattooed by Steve twice, but this was my first time inside Hot Stuff because last time he came to Atlanta. The shop is super cool and I was very impressed with all the COVID -19 safety guidelines in place. I felt very safe getting tattooed there even in the middle of this pandemic.
Steve did a gorgeous job, was super friendly, and priced a really big piece very fairly. I will happily drive from Atlanta to Asheville to be tattooed by him again.
