Kerry is a phenomenal artist, and I loved visiting this studio. Worth a long drive for sure! The plants and music made it very relaxing, everything was very clean, and I love my art so much. Kerry's work has transformed how I feel about my body. Going back to see Kerry for more asap :)

If only I could give Heart of Gold 10 stars! This is now the only place I would ever go for a piercing or tattoo. I have had the privilege of getting 2 tattoos by Kerry (with more appointments already booked because I'm that obsessed with her work) and both turned out exquisitely. She took the time to listen to my concerns and uncertainties and worked patiently with me until we came up with 2 pieces that were far more amazing than what I had imagined. She is great at listening and offering suggestions as well as executing incredibly intricate and precise line-work. The end result was even better than what I was hoping for and the entire experience was so comfortable and relaxing. The studio itself is also remarkably clean and comfortable. I also went in yesterday and received a septum piercing by Derek. He took the time to answer my innumerable questions and wait ever so patiently while I indecisively lusted over all of the gorgeous jewelry they carry. I finally settled on a fabulous rose gold ring but was shaking with fear of how badly the piercing was going to hurt... except it didn't! Despite my horribly crooked septum he aligned it perfectly and I barely felt it. It was such a wonderful experience and he ensured I knew what to expect and was comfortable the entire time. Needless to say, I would recommend Heart of Gold for any kind of body art and will definitely be returning. The staff could not be kinder or more talented. Amazing place.

Accompanied a nervous friend to get her labret pierced today and I can not rave more about our experience. Derek was professional, knowledgeable, kind and welcoming. He was super patient and explained everything to her in detail, walked her through every step. He is a fantastic piercer, the shop is well kept and easy to find, and the jewelry selection is AMAZING. I will DEFINITELY be heading back there soon, and recommending Heart of Gold to everyone I know.

I had the best tattoo experience with Kerry at Heart of Gold. She was warm and welcoming from the moment I walked in the door. Kerry worked with me to get the exact tattoo that I had been planning, re-drawing the design and hand painting the color on my outline to make sure I was perfectly content with my new tattoo. I had the best piercing experience at Heart of Gold Body Arts. I had a second cartilage piercing done by Derek and was very pleased with his work, professionalism, cleanliness, and friendliness. Derek and Nic had fantastic customer service and I was pleasantly surprised at the follow up care that was given. They were thorough in helping customers from beginning to end and were open to any questions or concerns. I thoroughly enjoyed the overall atmosphere of the shop and would highly, highly recommend Heart of Gold Body Arts to anyone.

I recently received my first tattoo from Kerry, and everything about my experience was great. After talking about what I wanted for a tattoo with Kerry, she came up with a beautiful design that I loved. On the day of my appointment, Kerry was extremely kind and knowledgeable and she quickly eased my first tattoo anxiety. I highly recommend getting a tattoo from Kerry, and would definitely go back to her for a second tattoo.

Savannah is amazing. She was quick to reply and help me book and professional throughout the entire process. She made me feel comfortable during the tattoo and honestly made the whole experience really fun. I am so please with the outcome of my tattoo, which she did freehand. She is an incredible artist!

I had such a great experience when I went in to begin stretching my ears for gauges. I was nervous that it would be very painful. Derek was very knowledgeable and we discussed different options for beginning the process. After a small stretch he set me up with a series of gauges and gave me some great advice on cleaning and care. I followed his instructions to the "T" and am very pleased with my progress. I was impressed with Derek's professionalism and am planning on going back for more work. This shop has a great selection of beautiful high quality jewelry to boot.

I had a tattoo done by Kerry Burke and piercings done by Derek Ian - these people are amazing!! If you want a tattoo or piercing done by truly talented, professional individuals who care immensely about the work they do, this is where you need to go! They are awesome people!
