My friend wanted to get a tattoo of a small fishbone on their hand and we tried to come here to get it. We called about getting a walk in tattoo and they said they refused to discuss prices over the phone. When we showed up and showed them the tattoo we wanted to get the artist we talked to said that it wouldn't look good and that my friend would regret it when they were 50. When they said they didn't care about that and they wanted the tattoo anyway, the artist said "well I care" and we were turned away. It was a real bummer.

I suppose they might have been having a bad day, but the artists were very condescending. It's my fault, I suppose... I'm the one who chose to go to a "walk in" mediocre parlor for a complicated design. All good artists in Portland are booked weeks or months in advance.
