"As the 1st and original tattoo shop in Southside we have been in business for a wonderful 25 years. First female owned shop and 1st female tattoo artist in pittsburgh! We have the best artist Veronica, Brandon, Garrick, Mike and Morgan. Any and every custom style of artwork done everyday. Great body piercing done daily by Dan and Morgan. We are a very clean, warm and welcoming to all staff. Come check us out."

I got spider bites done here, for $85. The piercer did it all very fast, probably less than 5 minutes after walking-in then it was finished. I don't know what gauge the piercings are, but I should have asked. Overall, the piercings are great. š I would go here again.

My artist was Brandon. I wanted a couple things different than the picture I brought, he did a great job putting his own twist on it. My tattoo came out amazing, you dont realize your sitting as long as you are. He's down to earth funny and the conversation was easy not forced or uncomfortable. Recommend him to anyone.

Good tattoo shop with a friendly staff that are genuinely nice and will work with you on your ideas to earn your business. My wife and I are happy with our ring finger tattoos, our artist was Garrick and he did a fine job. We will be back for more extensive pieces soon.

I have been going to south side tattoo for nearly a decade now and have nothing but good things to say about this place. Joe is my artist and does amazing work. I've never made it easy for him by just picking some flash off the wall. I always tell him my ideas and he brings them to life and makes the pieces more beautiful then I could imagine. My color looks as good as the day I got it. I'm always complimented on my work and I confidently tell everyone who asks to go to South Side Tattoo. The work is worth the price.

Iāve been here a few times for a variety of piercings..the women is great but the man is beyond rude. I came in today to have a hoop put in and i squirmed a little..he backed away and rolled his eyes. I asked if it was in yet and his response was āI donāt know maybe if youād stop movingāan an EXTREMELY RUDE TONE.
I had already disclosed that I was experiencing a lot of pain with this piercing. Not to mention the fact that he OVER CHARGED so heād get a tip? Ridiculous and so unprofessional..I WILL not be back for a piercing.

I was just here and I wanted my nose pierced and my ears pierced to a 12g and I think her name was Morgan DID SUCH A GREAT JOB! I was so scared but she was so quick and it was so painless:) I will never go to anyone else now

Many of my friends and I have gotten tattoos from this place and they were great, good lines and the male tattoo artists were very friendly. They had decent prices for tattoos until just recently I went for just a simple coulple words and knowing how much my friends paid for theirs which was a decent price I got told my tattoo would be $160 for an 8 word tattoo. The lady who was supposed to do it was I believe Veronica, I donāt doubt her skills but no way was I going to pay that much for 8 words. Also the front lady who was working the counter didnāt try to negotiate or help and was kinda rude when I told her that was too much. Mind you my friend had a 6 letter tattoo done here and was only $70. I later went to another tattoo shop 50 minutes from there for them to tell me tattoo shops around the city have started upping their prices. Wish I could give it zero stars but I wanted to write a review.
