I went in with an idea and Cat ran with it. She incorporated all of my ideas and kept my piece extremely elegant, detailed, and perfectly fit to my arm to flatter my body. ABSOLUTELY amazing experience. Had a fix up done on a tattoo I had on my shoulder. The artist who did it before, did horrible, but Cat took great care of it and fixed it up! It looks amazing and I can't thank her enough. You can definitely tell they love what they do and always make sure their clients are satisfied. This is definitely my go to place when I'm itching for another tattoo!

Details: I am always a little cautious about trying new tattoo artists - for obvious reasons. However - Jon worked with me to not only understand the idea I brought to him but he even took the time to make suggestions for me to consider which turned out awesome. He did an AMAZING job on my tattoo. It has been several weeks now and the tattoo healed up perfectly. Prices were very reasonable and he works quickly for the amount of detail captured. I came to Dark Horse based off of these reviews and I would like to provide extra confidence to new customers that Jon will do solid work for you. Enjoy!

I had a consult with Deussay and an appt scheduled a few weeks later. He was so professional and even though my ideas were not cohesive and were all over the place, he was able to create something very special and meaningful for me. It came out better than I could have ever imagined. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience or a better artist to give me a piece dedicated to my children.
I came back a month later and finished up my lower arm and a small hand piece with Deussay and then booked him a month after that to do a piece on my foot.
His professionalism and talent is beyond measure.

I visited the shop a couple months ago. Jon is awesome! My tattoo came out better than I expected it to. Steve is very nice, I didn't get a piercing but great guy to talk to. Cat is a bit on the rude side. She had a major attitude the entire time we were talking to her. She didn't like to answer any questions we had, just extremely rude. My friend decided not to get a tattoo from her because of her nasty attitude.

I went in today to get my tattoo done today and it was the best tattoo experience I've had yet! The shop was extremely clean and nice and everyone was super friendly. Jon did my tattoo and I love it! Got my first done by Jon Fallows and it was a pleasant experience from start to finish. He got it done nice and quick while making it a good time. I recommend Dark Horse all the way if you want good quality tattoos with good value, because I know for sure I'm gonna be coming back for more.

I went in last week just to get some jewelry, but decided to write a review because I was so impressed. I've been to a few shops all over the DC/NOVA/Baltimore area for myself and to be a pillar of support for friends - this is by far the cleanest, most organized, and friendliest I've ever been to. While I was waiting to talk to the piercer about replacement jewelry, I overheard him giving very detailed care and cleaning instructions (down to what brands of soap to use) to his last client. I didn't mind waiting because he was really taking the time to make sure his client (who had an appointment, I didn't) had all the information she needed and felt comfortable with the care instructions. When they were leaving he made sure she had all his contact info in case she felt there was an emergency after hours (I've never seen someone offer that, very comforting with a new piercing or tattoo). Long story long, if I ever want another piercing or tattoo I'm already sold on Dark Horse for this experience alone.
