If you would like a mechanic-type feel for your tattoo experience, this is your spot. No offense to mechanics, but the condescension and lack of care is palpable. They seem to do enough business that no single customer is important. There are too many quality tattoo shops/artists in Seattle to waste your time at Slave.

Initially waited 3 months for my piercing appointment. They called and cancelled the hour of my appointment. The appointment was rescheduled for 3 weeks later. I'm bummed 😔 the employees deserve to take days off when needed!!! Wish I could have been rescheduled for the same week. I don't really like leaving stars as a review, so I just gave them an average 3, I'm not really sure how to rate someone on a star scale, just

A few months ago I got piercings done by Josh and he was wonderful! Definitely one of the best experiences I've had, we joked around and cleared the nervous air. I went back to check if they were healing correctly last month and they got me in the next day to do a little check up, no charge for the appointment. He answered all my questions and made sure I knew how to properly care for them.Great place!

I got an industrial cartilage piercing with Josh. He made sure I was comfortable and relaxed before getting set up for the piercing. He had a very good sense of my comfort level and didn't try to rush through things. The piercings placement is perfect and Josh walked me though all of the care info so everything has been healing up great.
The whole studio is bright and clean and feels really inviting. I will definitely be going back for any future piercings!
