Aggressive Contrast Tattoo Company

The tattoo itself turned out very well, (sort of) that's about the only positive thing I can say. Guy acted very nice as if he was my best friend, yet basically just made fun of me the whole time with all kinds of comments about how he did not like or approve of things I did or thought, including his absolute disdain for a infinity symbol tattoo I had (that being my first). Very very rude. Gee, I wonder how he knew so much about me??? At the end of the experience price went up $150 from what he said in the beginning. Took him over 8 hours do something he said would take 2.5-3 hours. He went on and on about how he likes to take his time to do a good job I guess to justify how long it took? Or just to inflate his price? Wrapped the tatoo in paper towel instead of the plastic at the end... Took way too many breaks... I really only needed one not like 6... And when I came back from one break after stepping out for a bit it took him like 20 minutes to come back again... He also denied knowing a person that I worked with who had been manipulating me in a similar capacity. The whole thing was a very disheartening experience for me. It boggles my mind people can be this horrible. Guy calls himself "shoes". I don't know what the hell that is his artist name, real name or what. I would have rather this guy turn me away rather than spewing his peanut gallery comments of what he thought about me that he had no right to do in the first place. Was supposed to come back in a few weeks to get colored, though I will never come close to this establishment ever again. I have never been treated worse or made to feel more horrible in my life.

I had called to see if they were accecpting walk ins. They told me to swing by in 20 mins which was a huge plus when you really have that itch for a new tattoo lol. The artist scott did a great job on the tiny piece I had in mind. Wasnt super expensive. Clean presentable shop. Nice folks. Will be back again for more tattoos

I can't speak to the Hales Corners location or other Artists that have worked out of the shop but Joe does great work. He cares very much about his art and is very talented. Give him a direction and then let him get creative with it, the results have always been better for me that way rather than really pin him down on what he can and can't do. I have 6 pieces by him and 4 friends I've recommended him to and are now all happy customers.

I've been getting tattooed for over 2 decades and spent the last 4 years having work done at the various locations of Zoe's Vicious Circle. Spencer is a master artist doing exceptional work easily one of the best artists working in the States. The folks at the Oak Creek shop are talented artists with a keen eye for detail-Chainsaw, Tara, Shoes & One Feather you're talent amazes me. Clean professional shop, courteous service, relaxing environment. Joe & Timmy are killing it in Bayview interesting work coming from those guys. Jeff & Alex in Hales Corners are bringing a new level of precision and detail to the art form. If you're going to get inked be smart and check out Zoe's Vicious Circle in Hales Corners, Oak Creek or Bayview and have your work done at one of these great shops. Or if you want to waste money go somewhere else, have a crappy tattoo done and then go to Zoe's so they can fix your mistake with an awesome cover-up.

Today my partner and I walked into Zoe's Vicious Circle looking for a matching tattoo. We were greeted by 'medium' Joe. We looked around for about 15 minutes until we came a crossed something we both wanted. During my tattoo process 'medium' Joe kept asking if I was okay, and if I needed a break. I told him "I was doing just fine". However, I wasn't. I was about a minute away from total black out. He stopped and called over to my partner and gave her his OWN money and told her to go to the gas station and retrieve a bottle of Mountain Dew, and Sour Patch Kids. Apparently my body wasn't reacting very well and my blood sugar went down drastically. I ate them and in a matter of about ten or fifteen minutes I was ready to go again. 'Medium' Joe cared, I believe he truly cared about my well-being. I never would of thought in a million years this would happen to me, and I am so thankful he was there to get me through it. My partner and I got our matching tattoos and couldn't be happier. He definitely has a repeat customer and best advertisement in this business is word of mouth, and he surely has it from us.

Spencer did a great job on my tattoo when I got it when I turned 18! I love my tattoo and can’t wait to get more tattoos from him! He is really nice and cool and laid back!

Once again excellent work by Joe Vargas. Completely redid my 11 year old tattoo and added some text. Didn't rush and price was fair. I will always recommend Joe.

Joe is amazing. Such an amazing artist and his vision for what your tattoo should look like is spot on. And is always better than what you enpictured it to be.

I stopped in to their Howard Ave location hoping to get a tattoo but i had no appointment and they were busy so i was out of luck. Talked briefly with joe, who people speak very highly of in other reviews. He was booked a few weeks out and i didn't want to wait that long, especially for the very basic tattoo i wanted.

I ended up driving to their oak creek shop on South Howell Ave and talked to Alex. He was busy too but took the time to get me started on choosing a font for my tattoo and told me he'd call me later that night to come back in.

I wasn't really expecting him to call, but he did. I went back around 7:30 or so and alex knocked it out for me. I was so happy that he was able to accomodate me....

Alex is a young guy but i had no apprehensions at all about having him work on me. First off my tattoo was just lettering. But more importantly after talking with him and learning about him i figured there was no reason for concern. Zoe's has a great reputation based on the reviews I've read, and i figured alex wouldn't be working there if he didn't meet their standards. He also did his apprenticeship at zoe's, so obviously they know what he is capable of.

The shop lobby was nice and clean. Not much flash to choose from yet but i think that may be because they are more of a custom tattoo shop. Also may be because that location is fairly new. Just speculation on my part.

I only saw the one work station, Alex's, which was very clean, well-lit and private. You are out of view of the people in the lobby.

Thanks again Alex for knocking it out for me that night!! I'll be back for sure.

Just had the start of my new tattoo done by Shoes tonight and I couldn't be happier! He was so professional and really took his time to get it exactly how I wanted. I can't wait to go back for the next sitting!
