I have multiple tattoos by all artists at this studio (Zara, Erin and Jacqueline) and I could not recommend this place more. The care and consideration they put into their work astounds me every time. Every design, idea, flash has been perfect in every way. They are all thoughtful and communicative prior to your session, and execute their craft in a masterful way. I’ve had the most lovely sessions with all three artists. Not only are they fantastic at what they do, but they are truly all wonderful humans. They are priced fairly for their work and expertise, the studio is clean and decorated beautifully, parking is super easy. I could go on and on about how truly fantastic this studio is. I highly highly highly recommend booking at Opal Tattoo.

I am a loyal client of Opal Tattoo studio … and I can say with confidence that you won’t find a better shop for fine line tattoos… ANYWHERE. I have been going to Zara (Opal) for 2 years now. I’ve gotten a total of 5 tattoos from her , and each are beautiful , with crisp clean line work & unique designs. Zara is very professional during the booking process , which my Capricorn nature appreciates greatly. Whenever I come in for my tattoo she is laser focused , but also warm and friendly . I always feel like she takes into account my preferences while staying true to her artwork creating amazing pieces. Recently , I’ve also gotten a tattoo from Erin (Lil doe tattoos) which is just as beautiful and crisp as all my previous ink. They really took into account my love for California native plants and went above & beyond my expectations. Their shop is always very clean and nicely decorated with local art and merchandise. Overall, my experience with Opal Tattoo studio has been great, and I can’t wait to continue my Opal tattoo sleeve!

I just got my first tattoo done here by Erin yesterday and it could not have been better! I was pretty nervous but the whole environment amongst all the artists was so welcoming and friendly. Erin was super nice and professional and made super I was comfortable with tattoo placement and size and everything along the way. They did an amazing job with my tattoo, were very helpful with aftercare instructions, and overall made the whole experience great. I will definitely be going back!!!

I am a 60 year old woman who decided to get her first tattoo! I’ve followed Opal for years and love her work. She worked with me to design a small meaningful floral piece representing my children’s’ birth month flowers. She discussed the whole process with me first so I was comfortable on the day. The studio is impeccably clean and bright and welcoming and everyone there is super professional and no BS. Opal was very clear about what to expect and what might or might not be good for ME.. I respect an artist who doesn’t compromise. I really recommend Opal and her whole team. It was a great experience all around.

Opal tattoo was such an inviting clean studio to get one of my tattoos done here. The staff was super sweet. Zara tattoo exactly what I wanted and she was so light on her hand I felt so relaxed. Love this place and recommend it to anyone looking for florals and small detailed work! Booked my next apt here, can’t wait!

I did my first (and probably only) tattoo with Zara after I had a friend pass away during the pandemic. She took extra care with a memorial tattoo to make it extra special for me. I was extremely nervous and unsure if I'd ever get a tattoo but this meant so much to me and I'm SO glad I did it. Her approach calmed me down before we even began and I was especially surprised with how FAST she was!

Zara and her team are hands down the best.
I have gotten both legs, upper and lower arm done from her. I am obsessed with flowers so she has done all floral on me. I Can not wait to get more done by her!

Not only is her line work amazing. She is gentle and very friendly. I was super nervous to get work done but she makes you feel right at home and so comfortable!

I haven't got the chance to visit Zara's new shop but I've gotten tattoos from her in her last shop. She is very kind, super talented, and always professional. Always a great experience. I highly recommend to anyone who wants a tattoo she is the best!!

I’ve been to Opal Tattoo Studio and have recommended Opal to many people (some of which have gone to her and I know feel the same way I do after their experience). I have personally had multiple tattoos done by her (including my first) and plan to come back for more. She’s professional, kind, and just an overall awesome person. For my first one, it was a flash event but she still took the time to be reassuring and patient, something I really appreciated for my first experience since I was a bit nervous. When I came back for custom work, she worked with me to create the perfect tattoo. I honestly cried when she showed me the design a few days prior to my appointment it was that perfect. She really takes the time to work with you on your design. The studio itself is good vibes all around - look-wise and the people who work there. I would seriously go to any artist there, they’re all super nice and talented! I can’t recommend this place enough.

Zara has tattoo'd our band at a flash event that took place at a concert! Was amazing. Super excited and not surprised to hear she has her own shop now. Cannot recommend her enough. Shes SO FAST AND CLEAN. and when you're getting a tattoo I think we can agree fast and clean is the best!
