Max Weber is my favorite tattoo artist. He has done 3 tattoos for me (so far) and I absolutely love every one. He is professional, respectful, and incredibly communicative. He plans ahead and makes the entire tattoo process as smooth as possible.
He has his own very unique, fresh style and is also fully open to walking the client through bringing their personal visions of art to life. I would 100% recommend him for both walk-ins and appointments. You’ll love his work.

It was a great experience especially because of the artist who did my tattoo (Max Weber) was patient and kind while I sorted out my finances. I'm visiting from Canada and of course a bill payment went through on my last day in the city, lol.

Ive been coming here and collecting tattoos for almost 10 years now. The staff is wonderful, helpful and fun! Max Weber has been a highlight every time ive been there. Always so friendly and helpful. He as tattooed me many times and out does himself each time by being helpful, under standing with my ideas and how to make them the best tattoo they can be. Thank you LET IT BLEED!!!!

My husband and I stopped by Let It Bleed during a long weekend trip into San Francisco. I had an appointment with Evan scheduled the day we flew in. The tattoo took longer than we expected, but the end product was beyond awesome. Really clean lines and bright vivid colors. While my husband and I were waiting for my tattoo to be finished up, Evan, Max, and Eric had endless friendly conversations with us about music, dogs, places to eat, and a range of other topics. I had truly never been in a friendlier more inviting tattoo shop, and I've been to several over the years.
My husband and I are from a small town in Alaska, so we were a little overwhelmed with the city to say the least. All three guys gave us recommendations on places to eat and things to see, but Eric took the time to write down several recommendations on a post-it note for my husband and me. After we left the shop, Evan reached out to let us know that he was available for help and other questions.
Again, I really want to reiterate that my husband and I felt no intimidation or feeling of "not belonging" at Let It Bleed. We truly felt like valued customers and friends by the time we left the shop. In particular, I would recommend Evan to tattoo anyone who is looking for some quality and professional work. If we're ever in the city again, I would definitely get more work done by Evan at Let It Bleed.

great! i did a walk in and just had to come back an hour later and got set up with Max. I’m super happy with how it all went down. great care and was done quickly. these tattoos were $150 but ofc i also tipped 😤

I’ve been tattooed by a number of artists at this shop and always have a great experience. Most recently, Max did matching tattoos for me and a friend. We gave him a general idea of what we wanted and the design he came up with was perfect. I wanted to fit mine into a gap between some existing tattoos and Max was very patient and accommodating with me when I wanted to see how it would look in a few different spots. Felt very comfortable and well taken care of the whole time I was there. Already planning to come back for another one soon! Thanks max!!
