Been tattooed everywhere across the globe. SF has a bunch of heavy hitters and Iβm tattooed by a lot of them but keep coming back to Let It Bleed because the staff have become my friends. They genuinely care about the tattoos they put on people and more importantly they really really care about their customers satisfaction. Whether you get something for Max, Evan, Or Eric β youβll be dealing with a professional π

Max did my cute little ice cream tattoo. He worked with my example picture and made it even better than I could've imagined. Super friendly and professional!

I scheduled a walk in appointment with Max yesterday at 3:30, it took at least 20 minutes for Max to draw up the tattoo design based on 2 reference photos. The issue Iβm facing now, is the tattoo design he drew up and what I approved and consented to, ended up being tattooed completely different onto my arm. In my experience, if a tattoo artist is unclear on the clients needs, they ask questions and confirm what theyβve drawn or shown to their client is exactly what they want and this is not changed during the tattoo process itself. However, Max did not communicate there was any confusion until confronted later, because the moment he finished my tattoo, he quickly wrapped my arm and I didnβt get to see the final result until I unwrapped it to find out the design was completely different. I continued to reach out to Max via Instagram to understand what happened and instead of a simple βIβm sorry, Iβve made a mistakeβ, Iβve been gaslighted and blamed that it is a misunderstanding. Max continues to place blame onto me that he did βnot hear meβ when I asked for no shading and only line work, even though he verbally confirmed multiple times, in addition to stating it out loud to 2 other clients in the room waiting for him, that it would only take 30-45 minutes because my design was only line work. So I would hope others reading this would see why Iβm frustrated because I have irreparable shading that cannot be undone. All I ask for is a refund and Max chooses not to refund me because heβd like to discuss this in person, when there is no point in me wasting my time to discuss something that is obvious, he made a mistake and thinks he can talk his way out of it when in reality all he did was choose to not hold himself accountable for his own mistakes that I have to live with on my body permanently. A refund is the least the store could do for me, this tattoo design was in remembrance of 2 people in my life that have died, my Dad and Grandfather, and now I have to be sad about the fact it didnβt come out exactly the way I had wanted.

I went in for a walk-in with my friend. We were treated very nicely. The tattoo artist did a great job and took mercy on me regarding the painπ

This is my favorite tattoo shop ever. I had Max for a consultation and walk in , about 1 week apart. He was awesome; Max is super nice and cares about his work. We went over designs together and took our time with everything from color to placement. He took extra time in the beginning to make sure I was happy with where it would go and what it would look like. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Tattoo artists here are amazing. They work with your ideas to come up with custom designs for your own tattoos. Huge range of styles and personalities which is awesome. My GF has been coming for awhile, and I just got my first piece done by Max, which I absolutely love.

Kieth was awesome! Super patient, talked through everything that he was doing, and made me feel super at ease for my first tattoo

I took a chance on letting Justin May tattoo me.
I recommend trying someone else. His line work or should I say tracing is amateur at best and has an attitude to match.
He may have some talent hidden in there but needs some more apprentice years to find it.
Go elsewhere.

Great experience getting my first tattoo here, the artists were very accommodating and helpful. Would definitely come back. Some people donβt realize there is generally a minimum charge for tattoos, regardless of size you will be charged a minimum if youβre getting one or two small tattoos.
