The shop is clean, friendly, and welcoming. The staff wants you to get your best tattoo, even if that means referring you to another artist. Truly admirable. William did a space themed half-sleeve for me. I smile every time I see it. Great space, great vibe, great tattoo. I couldn't ask for more.

I don't often feel compelled to write reviews, but Mammoth American Tattoo deserves a shoutout. I was pretty anxious as it was my first tattoo and wasn't sure what to expect, but the entire staff was so kind and professional- I feel silly that I was worried at all. I selected William as my artist because I wanted to make sure my entire tattoo process was vegan and he totally knocked it out of the park. Not only did he bring my idea to life in the form of a beautiful design, but he recommended great vegan aftercare products and made me feel completely at ease the entire time- during the consultation and during the appointment. The entire staff seems like one big family and any future tattoos I get will absolutely be done at Mammoth American. Thanks again!

Super friendly atmostphere and the artist hang up most of their work on the walls. They are great artists they were able to see me immediately and I was a walk in. I got matching tattoos with my bestie.

DJ is a visionary! I got a long awaited mermaid tattoo from him and its PERFECT! I drove from Fort Collins to Denver just to see him, he's that good! The shop is clean and everyone is very professional. Recommend!!!

I am SO happy I found Chad at Mammoth! I had been searching for several months to find an artist to finish my back piece, which is also a cover up and pretty unique design. Chad was really honest and straight forward with me during our first consultation, and said we'd spend a lot of time drawing and discussing until we found something or we didn't. First session, he spent over an hour and a half just drawing on my back. We changed directions a few times, and he was really patient and worked with me until we were both happy with the final design. The tattooing went quickly and smoothly on my back - so much so that we even had time to do another small piece on the back of my arm. Can't wait for this to finally be finished by Chad! Also, the shop is super clean and inviting, and their music choices are fantastic and relaxing. This is officially my tattoo shop. <3

Update. Went back to her another tattoo. DJ had a cancellation and was able to fit me in right away. This guy is good! I'm already planning some more work but will plan ahead better for bigger work. Thanks for getting me in and being so professional.
Denver Foodie
This is the only place to go for a tattoo in Denver. Very clean space and nicely put together. Nice art on the walls that can be purchased as well. And that's just all the cool stuff to look at while you get a sweet tattoo. The artists are all unique and extremely talented. I have gotten 20 hours of tattoos here and look forward to 20 or 30 more. Thankfully they are so good they were able to cover up all of my ugly tatts. Which were all Denver area "professional" shops.
