Every time I go to Mammoth American Tattoo I give it 5 stars. The shop always has friendly and helpful artists, and the atmosphere is very comforting. I have had 4-5 tattoos from Ian Rice, and each one is pretty different from the last. I had trouble for many years finding an artist that was so versatile. He has done very large cursive type script on my stomach, very small typewriter script that takes up my upper arm, and a fiery inferno scene taking up the other upper arm. Before Ian I had to go to different artists depending on if I wanted black and white, color, fine detail, large pictures. Not only are all my tattoos beautiful, some I’ve had for several years that haven’t shown any signs of fading, but he is also patient and listens to his customers ideas. One arm piece was very specific and detailed, with a lot of color; Ian didn’t try to tell me that something else would be better or sell me on things that I had no interest putting on my body (which has happened to me several other times). Another one I just said I want these words but other than that I don’t know, and he was able to create a beautiful piece for my stomach when I gave him almost nothing to work with. My point to anyone reading this is I really don’t see why anyone would go anywhere else but Ian Rice at Mammoth American to get tattooed.

The best place to get tattooed that I've ever been too. Getting tattooed is one of those things that if you don't feel you are at the very best shop then you should go somewhere else. Mammoth American is that kind of shop were you know that you are at a great shop. Every artist is dedicated to the craft and loves what they do, and it shows in their work. When I've been there not only have my tattoos and consultations been great but seeing the tattoos other people get are all top notch. Best tattoo shop in Denver, hands down.

Had the best experience at Mammoth American- as soon as I walked in the door, everyone was friendly and inviting. I chose Will as my artist and he was so knowledgeable and attentive to what I wanted for my design. I'm so happy with the work he's done so far- it's so innovative and unique and I couldn't be happier with the results. I have one more session to complete this piece and I'm already thinking about future projects with Will!!

Wife and I both got tattooed by Darin. The whole process was smooth as butter- from booking the appointment to sitting in the chair. Prices are fair and can even be accommodated. Tattoo came out great, and the healing process has been a breeze. They have a small parking lot so that was a nice bonus too! :)
